Star Destroyer - Star Wars, STL for 3D printing

Star Destroyer is one of the most voted requests. That's why we have to make it first, but as you all know well, there are too many details to create the Star Destroyer. That's why it takes a lot of work time to express them. It took a long time to prepare for this long work time, and it was finally possible to make it.
The star destroyer I created this time will be sure to impress those around you with its numerous details.
I designed this Star Destroyer using the same approach as my previous Millennium Falcon design. So it's very easy to make.
caution
1. Be sure to remove the support of Hull C left and right parts.
2. The booster on the back is marked with upward and downward directions, so please check and attach it.
3. The location of the main engine deflector has been marked, so please check and attach it.
Please check the video for detailed production process.
It's late, but I'm very happy to answer your request. I hope you enjoy printing the Star destroyer that I put my all into.
I am designing a display stand for an exhibition, so please look forward to it.

I can’t begin to imagine the thought and planning that had to go into the creating of this model. But then add in the detail you have managed to incorporate into it with the windows, panels and such is truly one hell of an achievement. Not to dismiss the size of this model, which is considerable large than your average models. Truly excelled yourself with this one. This is not a criticism by any means, but I think a stand is a must for a model like this. As others have suggested the ability to add LEDs would be amazing, how lever than would involve another level of planning if even possible with your style of model. But once again, Outstanding sir, bravo!

Just finished printing this on my CR6 Max. No problem fitting multiple parts together on the bed and left to print. Easy to follow video while putting together. Now I need to start the print for the stand. Thanks!

Amazing , back in 1977 the Star Wars studio prop builders could only dream of this main stream tech of 2020's as they had to search through the hundreds of Tamiya kits .

Is this @ the same size as the old MPC/AMT kit? How difficult would it be to modify the design to reflect the Tector class Star Destroyer? It has no big hangar because it carries no fighters, landing craft, dropships. It also has @ double the number of guns. It's a pure battleship. I'd need separately molded gun turrets, and a LOT of them, plus extra deflector shield domes to build my modified version.

What kind of glue do you use when it's needed ? Is it just normal Cyano-Acrylate superglue ?

FYI, Early models had individual fiber optic threads laboriously fitted to the interior, later it was deemed more efficient to drill out the lit areas, and use an interior bulb as a bank light source ! ~liked ~subed ; )

Very cool. Does the Locktite Super Glue haze over? I've found the superglues/crazyglues that I've tried have a nasty tendency to leave a white haze on prints and I had to switch to B-7000 glue which works great but it would be nice to be able to use a super glue at times.

I have had good luck with Bob Smith Industries super gold plus super glue. It doesn't haze on clear styrene parts and I believe it's foam safe as well.

Hello. What instant glue did you use? Just built your model, did not come out as well. The tolerance are super tight. Managed with some sandpaper, but it is a awesome build.

Did you scale the model up in anyway? I am trying to print it now, but mine is looking to be alot smaller than what is shown in the video... Some of the smaller parts are giving me major bed adhesion issues, keeps ending up turning into spaghetti.

Yeah, the dimensions were listed below. They are Size= X 238mm, Y 362mm, Z 114mm . So it is just over a foot long.

Great. What software are you using to ensure a good physical fitting? I'm using Maya right now myself, largely 'cause I'm working on a model I created in that software years ago. Maya's not all that great, though, for making real-world models that you can snap together and whose pieces don't intersect. Would Fusion 360 be better? I wouldn't mind finding a software package that would make keying, or the use of pins, to attach model segments together a little bit easier.

Love the model the only thing I don't like that can be done differently and this is with all printed models is the guns along the side they need to be actual turrets not a print
