I did it to Peppy by flying into him in Area 6 on the Corridor mode when doing the speed run after destroying the 5 enemy missiles as Slippy is warning Fox, Slippy: “Incoming enemy missile!” After destroying all the missiles before hitting Fox, then Peppy is being pursuit by numerous missiles, and it is possible to fly into Peppy. Peppy: “There on me, I’m getting careless!”, second later, Peppy: “Watch where you’re flying!”, second later, Peppy: “What’s taking you so long Fox?”, second later, Peppy: “Sorry guys, I’ve got to sit this out!”, and then second later, Fox got KO’ed by the missiles, Falco: “No!!!!” It is common to fly into Peppy in Corridor or scrolling mode in Sector X, and Sector Y by taking the lower path, as well as All range mode, like Fichina, Bolse, Katina, Sector Z, and Venom II, via Area 6 on the hard path. I also flew into Peppy in Venom I on the corridor mode by following on the right when doing the speed run. Peppy: “I’ll take the right!”, second later, Peppy: “Watch where you’re flying!”

@GalacticHypernova I suppose that first level, normal route was so challenging for some that the euphory of finally reaching first boss might have been overwhelming. However, Star Wolf, especially in fights where the ultimate objective wasn't "Shoot at them until they die", at least fluff-wise, made the fight more interesting. The dogfight mechanics as well. The only thing is, I wish there was an option for an even harder such level. Otherwise, a boss's a boss, and as bosses go, unless you have reason to be attached to it, first level first boss is pretty tasteless.

@@Lucario_Amiibo That is true, however if you completely skip Fortuna (Take the warp at Meteo and you fail to defeat the mothership) Then let Slippy go to Titania, and then afterward, since you skipped Fortuna, you fight all of them at Bolse instead. Let's say you take the warp from Sector X up onto Sector Z. Then you go through Area 6 aswell, so you only fight them at Venom.

@@RenegadeScooter It's like that on Expert mode. If you manage to get all 15 medals (which is an absolute fucking feat, I can tell you that) you unlock expert mode. In Expert Mode, your wings are literally like paper. One crash, and you've lost a wing. Enemies do double damage, aswell.

yeah explosions cause serious lag so turning away is quicker in first person and has a lower field of view which reduces lag alot

Meteo Warp Zone has a significant amount of targets to actually GET the medal. Unless Zal was taking it slower and constantly charge shotting, Meteo Warp is much faster.

Melody Whispersong Doing specific things in the stages gives you alternate outcomes. Like the hidden Corneria exit.

It's been a while since I did this run, but this game is pretty easy for me to the point where me getting health doesn't matter.

I took the Sector X warp to end the stage faster, but once you beat the stage, you can change your course to the path with the easier prerequisites (in that case, Titania over Sector Z)
