They used to give you a free feed when going to see bands. My hotel the Pier Frankston Victoria, great times !

I'm proud to say I was there and saw nothing as I was inside with the band and roadies. I'm can be seen trying to see out the window just after they show the sign for the Heroes To-Nite. Thanks for the memories of the 18year old I was.....

What a riot, not literally 😂 I used to go to the star to bop along to Benny and the Jets singing Who put the bomp in the bompty bomp... what a riot. This was just a few years before the actual riot. Hadn't heard about it until now.

Newcastle is north of Sydney Australia. What killed our pub culture was too many Karens complaining about noise. I mean you buy a house next to a pub, you are going to get noise! Then poker machines. Pubs could rake in more money, and fewer problems with punyers and bands.
