Easy to spot the real Odo from the fake one. The fake Odo is panicky, wants to know what the Chief is doing. The real Odo remains his usual calm, stoic self, totally calm until all hell breaks loose lol!

If the first one to come enter the room had been the Founder, then it almost certainly would've tried to take the two men out immediately. Since it didn't, that should have been a dead giveaway that it was Odo.

its not an allergic reaction. the other changling was attacking him on a molecular level. odo of course gets his wits together and fights back. the whole process looked like a link because the processes are similar

Odo mimic'd the hairstyle of his bajoran scientist that discovered him and can't do faces very well because he didn't practice shapeshifting, yet for some reason all the changlings odo meets have the same messed up face and hairstyle as him, despite the fact they all can change into whatever human form or face they want. Why are the race of changlings an afterthought to production

I've always seen it that the changelings are mimicking Odo's appearance. Since yeah, obviously they can be whatever they want they're so good, but since it's the form that Odo takes, it's a conscious decision on their part to emulate it. And I think it makes sense that they choose to emulate him while in humanoid form. I mean they don't like to be humanoid at all, so when they do, they choose the form of their fellow changeling, not any of the other "solids". Unless of course when they're trying to pull one over on the solids and fuck things up.

i think that he was hurting odo, he looked like he was in pain. and odo didn't have much a choice but to throw him into the worpcore.

I do not think it was an attack. I think it was merely an attempt to incapacitate Odo WITHOUT causing harm. The changelings actions were the equivalent of giving someone a knockout drug to prevent them from hurting themselves.

also it seemed like wasnt meant to "harm" but rather to "subdue". harm didnt actually come until odo threw him at the warp core. i do not condone changling on changling crime but i do however find it hilarious
