I grew up watching Star Trek. And at first I wasn't sure about this show but it grew on me and frankly it's a good show if people just give it a chance and not get bogged down in Canon too much the fact that they went 900 years into the future and save the time of mine gives it a fresh perspective in my opinion

The pawraiths and the prophet's would be interesting, but i doubt the writers would be that clever to write something religious and spiritual. That goes against their woke ideas

@@Lightning546 I t was great but voyager's story line, them being lost and yet doing there best to adhere to the principles of the federation in a survival situation was amazing. Jane way was played incredibly well, Mulgtew was made for it. Favourite characters were Janeway, Tuvok and the Dr.

I really wanted to like STD and the first season had flashes of a good show. But the show fell off the rails quickly. I'm amazed it lasted 2 seasons.

I really like the first season, thought it was going somewhere and then these characters act like they run the ship. Captain doesn’t have any control whatsoever. Like their opinions matter, very disturbing not any captain in any Star Trek universe would put up with a crew like this. Horrible. I just hope Strange New Worlds doesn’t start following in these footsteps

"A moment that cements Captain Michael Burnham as the quintessential action hero of the Star Trek universe." - That IS the problem in my opinion. Star Trek had plenty of action, but it was fundamentally supposed to be about ideas, exploration, and advancement. It inspired a whole generation of engineers, astronauts, and physicists. This meaningless sludge inspires nothing. And you know I could put that all aside and still have fun with the show up until season three when the Federation was reduced to a dystopian hellscape by a Kelpian who I'm pretty sure has developmental issues.

Star Trek discovery I tried so hard to like this show. The show is absolutely gorgeous I love the design of the ships yet the story are not up to par, and it isn't really a Star Trek show. The show may have the Star Trek name but it is very thin. It is just terrible that so much time energy and money was wasted on the show that it did not take off

There were only ever three good characters in Discovery: Georgiou, Pike, and Number One. The new version of Spock only became interesting once he was in Strange New Worlds. These characters all left Discovery at the end of Season Two and the show has been unwatchable ever since. Paramount needs to let it go.

Star Trek Discovery managed to almost single handedly destroy the entire Star Trek franchise. Almost from the entire beginning the show has been absolute garbage. First by going off the beaten path away from an ensemble cast by treating Michael Burnham as a Girl Boss Mary Sue who sucked the oxygen out of the room, and second by having absolutely no "soul" in the storytelling. To the day I still don't even know the names of the rest of the Bridge crew....and the Discovery herself is not treated as a character in her own right, but instead is just....there. The sooner STD is gone the happier I will be. Thank god for Strange New Worlds. Thank god for Lower Decks.

Season 4 was god aweful! Tilly is the 1st character I can't stand in ALL of Trek. I don't like the idea of an Academy series.and if she's in it...

One minute in and I can't watch any further. This does not seem to be genuine at all, and sounds like it was written by the same immature writers who write for STD. This video seems nothing more than grifting. Strong recommendation to improve this channel: be genuine and honestly review the shows fairly with both the good and the bad.
