Sulu is on the bridge during "The Lorelei Signal" where alien women affect the minds of the male crew and Uhura has to take command to rescue them. He doesn't seem to do or say much, then, but has a goofy look on his face.

That always stuck with me. The woman flattens from a real 3 dimensional person to a 2D one, then to 1D, then to 0D. As if you transport by entering different dimension in space.

@YouthFreedomFighters She's a photonic-based life form, or a very advanced hologram. Her body is composed of photonic (light) energy, & magnetic fields are used to contain & refine her shape, which is that of a space genie. It's these same powerful magnetic fields which shield & make her invulnerable to phasers & energy weapons. In this episode, this alien genie "blinked" the Enterprise almost 1,000 light years away. She also reads minds, controls matter & energy, & can kill with a touch.
@JAMESLEVEE3 жыл бұрын
Actually, she was only sent to selectively wipe out individual humans. The computer that generated her did the rest (hurl the Enterprise 1,000 [actually 990.7] LY away, absorb information, etc.)
