Agreed, this is one of those games that just aged out sadly. I put about 400 hours into it and I come back now and then to see the story content, quite like ESO.

@@LordofDaggerfall This game was underfunded and poorly managed for long period of time. Nobody cared fixing the stuff, which led to players stop caring about reporting that stuff which led to stalemate. Few years back they finally got on fixing/removing worst offenders, but there is still ton of broken stuff. It has alot to do with complicated history of the game(originally published by Atari, then sold to Cryptic), lack of understanding of inner workings and very obsolete systems. And ofc, lack of Cryptic interest to invest into theirs best earning game. Like example, when Gamma quadrant was released, it took me 40 minutes to get from Exchange on ESD to elevators on the other side, because so many players came to check, servers nearly collapsed. There is big potential playerbase, but simply said, lots of people gave up facing all issues over and over. Its sad case of the game, that could be way more sucessfull given proper care. Its still good game in the core and there isnt that many good Star Trek games, but its dying slowly.

​@cyphi474 The last time I played they had merged the fleets, I think they did a big Klingon revamp and there was a JH event right after. The JH event was so broken my new captain got stuck in a loading screen and I just gave up. Man when I played on PS4 I would wait for the game to load for 3-5 minutes just to change outfits. 😂 That's the thing though, people love star trek, and while we get this game and an interactive novel, star wars fans are getting outlaws and kotor remakes and outcast etc while we get discovery and this outdated nonsense. It's been a long time since the movies, discovery was mediocre at best and Picard was good but didn't do enough to motivate the base. I'm still waiting on something as good as those old interplay games. I love dnd I never even touched neverwinter because cryptic was involved. 😢
