It's a D+ only Star Wars release. Remember the last D+ only Star Wars releases like Boba Fett, Obi Wan? This show will at most be a 5/10 (more like 3/10) and mess up canon even more with some nice new retcons and plotholes.

That was supposed to be the true sequel..Thrawn trilogy was the project of 2010 s with Mark Hamill as the lead.. opportunity wise they f**ed up bad so I m open to see reinvention of that story at some capacity.

Ezra really doesn't need another redemption arc. He has had 2 now, his first when he changed from his street life ways to become selfless and the second being when he refused to join maul and stopped using the sith holocron. It would just undermine all of his growth from rebels. Both Palpatine, Maul, Vader and the grand inquisitor failed to get Ezra to fall to the dark side, it doesn't make sense for Thrawn to succeed, considering he has limited knowledge about the force. I wouldn't be surprised if Ezra didn't get a happy ending in the Ahsoka series. Ahsoka and Thrawn aren't really past enemies, considering Ahsoka "died" before he went after the rebels and had to remain in hiding until Ezra sacrificed himself. There isn't any past rivalry except that they are on opposite sides, wheras Ezra and Thrawn share a history. Considering we know that there will be a film tying all the series together, we can presume Thrawn is set back on his return to the known galaxy or his plan to bring all the imperial groups together in ahsoka. I wouldnt be too shocked if Ezra sacrifices himself again as we know lukes survives and we can presume ahsoka does if they are considering making a second season.

It would be incredibly foolish to involve Vader in this series, I don't think you'll have to worry about the Skywalker saga being involved with this one. She can't defeat him or bring him back to the light because we already know how that happens and she had nothing to do with it. The best they could do is have them get into yet another duel with no real outcome.

@@cacti4324 Ezra is the main character of Rebels who has the plot armour protecting him. Also, I know all the rumors of Ahsoka show and not a single one of them suggests that he is dead.

@@joespicer well if you are acquainted with rebels you would know that the males of this particular group Kanan, Ezra and Zeb, one of them is dead and the other is missing in space and the third was spotted in the Mandalorian. if this is a continuation of rebels, then i would hope some of the story line would be a follow up on finding Ezra, i would highly suggest watching rebels if you wish to know more.
