Just to point out hunters knife and knife holster are much thinner compared to the season 1 hunter

Well dang! I looked at them from one side, no difference. Should have looked at it from the other, the thinness makes it even better, more scaled to the size.

The kneepads on Echo must have been a running change / factory mistake. My S2 Echo has the original S1 version of the kneepads, not the stock clone ones.

Honestly the only complaints I have about these are the lack of trigger fingers on the left hands for hunter and echo which I cut as soon as I opened them and while I love that hunter’s knife is better scaled it doesn’t stay in the hand that well for me

Man, I didn't think I'd need these, but seeing them in hand and knowing that's there actual newly sculpted parts helps me not feel like I'm just getting repaints. I still need to watch season 2, so that could also persuade me. Awesome review, as always!!!

Just something I noticed with echo, the one I received actually retained the knee pads from season one as opposed to he regular clone knee pads, seems like that's a variant among Echo figures

Watching when you got to Tech gave me flashbacks to the Batmobile button. I'm going to display them like you, Season 1 helmets on, Season 2 helmets off. Just need Ohmeega to complete the team.

I've got very mixed thoughts on The Bad Batch show as a whole, but I think these guys are a great compliment to the season 1 figures. This may be the first time I've felt that an action figure costume change was different enough to show off a different side to the characters, while not being too different as to be an entirely different getup like it's laundry day or a beach episode or something.

For me, i think Im good with the S1 looks. Except Tech. Gotta admit the new colors really got me and that new head is perfect. Wrecker is a possible second. Not sure. Hunter just reminds me I wish I could have gotten the Republic Commando Delta Squad

I didnt really like the new colors but after seeing them out of the package they are a strong possiblity for me. Walmart has been keeping exclusives instock like a year after release so hopefully i can get them in the future

id like the new looks alot more if they kept the red and black colors im not super into this color scheme but if i ever watch s2 it might convince me not the figures fault but i also hate that hunter doesnt have the half skull on his helmet that design is so bad ass

Just got Hunter I may have to get everyone else though. Even though I have the originals for everyone else except for Hunter which was my reason in buying this version. I’m excited to get the rest in hand since it seems the townsfolk don’t like animated shows.

Echos legs are different than the box art which is weird but I love this set. Walmart sent them over a week in 3 different boxes.

I didn't realize there was a difference in legs between trooper echo and mercenary echo. Hopefully I'll be able to get my hands on two of the trooper echoes and I can replace the legs on the mercenary echo with it.

Seems you could have a production defect with Echo. His knee pads should be the same as the season 1 version.

I don't collect clone characters, I only have so much space for my Star Wars figures and honestly I find some of the clone characters to look a little awkward with things like the helmet sizes and other smaller details. That said I figured I'd need at least one clone for my collection, so I went with Tech from this wave since he's my favorite of the team. I appreciate your review highlighting the improved faces, I thought Hunter looked really off the first time around with a narrow head but that's clearly the glossy face that did that, here the new one looks much better.

@@TheFwoosh that would make a lot of sense! I haven't seen season 2 myself yet, I just liked the more colourful aesthetics. Plus now that you mention it, the round bits don't look like separate pieces, so they must be new kneepads altogether! A nice running change to see, though I prefer mine with the round thingies, accuracy be damned!

I dont know why, but when i look at that nee Wrecker, what comes to mind isnt Star Wars. For some reason, I get a feeling of Halo Spartan soldiers. Something about the paint of his armor

I've been using more moderation collecting Star Wars and these are low on the totem pole. Look good I'm glad they exist but I'm gonna pass. Can't wait for the new season though. ✌️
