I know this is an old video, but I just wanted to say that this lightsaber is fantastic! It's a bit small, but that doesn't really bother me. It looks especially good in the dark, and it has some weight to it which I love. This review is what persuaded me to buy it, so I felt I should finally drop a thank you.

Hey Dan I've never seen your channel before but I just want you to know that this video was super helpful. I was really on the fence about buying this lightsaber but your comparison did a good job of showing off the differences. Originally I was going to get the Black Series Force FX Lightsaber. But it cost more than double what this one cost! I still didn't know if this one was worth $60 but it is a clear upgrade from most of the other options. Anyway, thanks!

This is actually an upgrade to the ultimate fx lightsaber, which was honestly lackluster compared to the Disney store lightsaber. This is honestly the best kylo Ren lightsaber I’ve ever bought. Seriously. The flickering blade is enough for me to reccomend it.

This seems to be a remold/redesign of the Ultimate FX saber that was a ToysRUs exclusive from 2015. The blade does look much cooler.

I bought one a while ago its really heavy but really fun to do tricks with but also is challenging because of the crossguard overall i’d rate it a 9/10 its fun really fun and im already a ten year old kid who doesnt really care for toys anymore.

I'm guessing the hilt is plastic? If it's plastic, there's no way it can be a Force FX lightsaber. It's probably more similar to an Ultimate FX. Not hating on you, just wanted to let you know. I love your videos too! :D

I bought this lightsaber used and I was surprised that this was intact all in one piece despite seeing the battle wears on it. I say it is durable however its not to be used like ultrasabers or any other dueling-sparring sabers.

I personal prefer the force awakens one because it can retract which I like for storage and it is cheaper but nothing beats the spring loaded sabers from when I was younger

You should review the Disney store exclusive fx Lightsabers (they also sell them at Disney parks)

That blade is pretty cool I mean I wish it was longer but most of their blades are like 24 inches

There is the Disney “store” one like that and then toys r us has a ultimate force fx not really different but you seem to act like it’s one of a kind

Just got one for Christmas today at Target so, paid original price but was cool. Well, for a Christmas present my mom told me to pick out so. Once I get it next week I'll be doing a video review on mine :P I'm gonna leave it as is. Next to get will be the big boy Black Series, Ultra Sabers dueling grade one, and a Korbanth saber hilt. I agree though I wish all blade builders would turn out like this especially the Rey/Luke :P I have a couple older Ultimate FX's though so, not as good as this one though. I plan to Kylo it up by the summer so, and have the Black Series by then at least. Is this one considered an Ultimate FX or not really?
