Like the Jedi, Mandalorians are capable of superhuman feats whether singly or in groups, but overwhelming force is something that cannot be completely overcome no matter what abilities or technology they have. That said, the Mandalorians probably exacted a VERY high blood price from the Empire before they were beaten. Bo-Katan and her group understood that the Imperials had the numerical advantage in the episode, hence why they used a surprise attack and unorthodox tactics to take the Imperials off-guard and wipe out as many as they could before they could mount a substantial defence.

@@madmoblin true, but there's a difference between advocating for a less aggressive stance and a more neutral one, and disowning your culture. The Mandalorian creed, the resol'nare, has six tenets: wear the armor, speak the language, raise your children to be warriors, defend your clan and family, contribute to the welfare of your clan, and rally to Mandalore when called. None of those tenets say that you have to declare war on others or actively seek out conflict. She didn't have to disown her culture to keep Mandalore peaceful.

And whoever wins will face the same decision. Warrior societies are cool, but they need war to stay united.

My money's on a bait-and-switch. Tease/promise Ahsoka appearing in the season and then pull a fast one and have it explained away that she isn't actually appearing. I won't mind being wrong though, I just know how crafty some writers can be.
