OMG "One With the Carboard". He's awesome! The trash barrels were a very cool touch. And maybe R2 would have had a popcorn popper in there in the prequels as well, considering everything else that was added. And I'm a fan of Nerdist, so I enjoyed seeing them. Man the whole thing is super awesome. Love your creativity guys!

We primarily shoot in a Canon 7D but when it comes to tiny miniatures like this the camera on the iPhone works REALLY well. You can focus very close and put things within milometers of the edge of the lens. Also to fit inside the narrow trench we needed a small camera. For a few trench shots we even used a Flip Cam (upside down) to center in the trench low to the ground.

HAHAHA! I love this although very corny. I build and paint my own Star Wars vehicles and props. Soon I'll be making a four foot version of the X-wing from Jedi. It's amazing what you can do with a little polystyrene, silicone rubber and resin. I'm glad that the love for Star Wars hasn't died. This was very entertaining. Thank you very much for sharing this with the rest of us!
