Just picked up the Walgreens exclusive Emma frost & Dani moonstar today man Walgreens is slowly getting a lot of cool stuff now its insane.

Beware if you want to put the lightning hands on your old Emperor, the old emperor's hand pegs are giant mushrooms, I'd imagine you'd have to practically boil it to get them off safely, I broke both of mine before they came off. Not a big loss though, don't see myself ever really needed them again. Also one of the pegs on the lightning hands was molded sideways somehow, a weird QC defect.

Should be getting mine today. Glad to finally get a Palpatine for the shelf!

I feel like this is like the Snoke with the throne: you can get the figure alone, but why? All they do is sit until they shock people. It's like having a Scout Trooper and no speeder bike. Mine is one the way, supposed to be here Friday it says. Yay

The only thing I don’t like about this figure is the wrist joint. Why did they make it articulate side to side instead of up and down? It would’ve been nice to fold the hand over the armrest. Guess I gotta wait for shf to drop one!

Gus...heh! This is a fun piece. His extra heads are spoilery in that I want more emoting heads from the Wars BS figs. Screaming Luke. Smirking Han. Smiling Obi-Wan. Laughing Yoda. Teeth gritting Maul. Confused Qui-Gonn. Just more. Oh yeah, more hands to swap out too. The throne worried me at first but it’s alright. Now for Golden Rod’s floating deity chair...and Ewoks. Star Wars is fun.

Ah! I got mine this week. The paint application on mine is all kinds of sloppy. Silver smudges on the top of the throne, dots of grey on all the faces, even the eyes on the smiley head are looking to the left. The main draw for me was the throne. I started to customize my old Emperor giving him a grey crepe material robe, like the Hot Toys version. I’m glad I have him and his throne and all the accessories. For me it’s all about the throne.

Not liking the overuse of blue on the heads, especially the first one and those lightning hands are also no bueno. This is turning out to be a bit of a swing and a miss (for me at least) unfortunately. EDIT: I dunno if it's just the ones Robo got, the lighting, or the close up view but when I got my Palpatine in the mail I thought the face looked better after having it in hand.

Thanks for the review. I really enjoy this figure and quite like the throne. I've set it up with the Death Star display stand that was an exclusive from S.H. figuarts. I think it's a pretty good value for the money as well. Ordering it in Canada was interesting. It never came up for pre-order so I did have it preo-ordered on Amazon.com, then over a month before it was available at their .com it was in stock on the .ca site. A bit frustrating these Amazon exclusives, but I am glad I managed to get it. Again, I always enjoy listening to your opinion on the figures, and it was good to see a comparison with the first release.

Every time I look at Palpatine I just feel like he sounds like a chihuahua, despite the fact that I know how he sounds.

Mine Is Scheduled to be Delivered Friday! 😊👍 I also have an Original Release Emperor with Rikhor409 Robes and a Custom 3D Printed & Painted Throne, but had to have This Set. I'm probably going to pose Him with the Force Lightning Effect Hands, with My Emperor's Wrath Vader and Jedi Luke. Hopefully the Heads on the Upcoming ROTJ Jedi Luke with the New Headsculpt will fit the Old Jedi Luke, so We can swap the Heads, and get rid of that Awful, Puppy Dog Eyed Headsculpt.

7:07 I don't know what it is with the throne on these but if you look at the left side up at the top area, you'll see a manufacturing error of some sort. You see the ripple effect of the plastic with this one and on some others, the ripple has actually cracked at the edges. I've rarely seen a throne where this damage doesn't appear? Like wtf?
