The Emperor is DEAD, the galaxy is in disarray....In this series we'll be playing on Admiral difficulty in The Star Wars Empire at War Thrawn's Revenge Mod. Thrawn's Revenge is a part of the the Empire at War Expanded family of mods. The Empire at War Thrawn's Revenge Mod is set after the death of Emperor Palpatine and the rise of the New Republic along with the splintering of the Galactic Empire into many minor factions. Will we be able to restore order to the galaxy as the Imperial Remnant? Or will other factions rise up in the power vacuum? Join us to find out!

What I suggest starting in Era 1 is this: Leave the Outer Rim and keep key planets like Fondor, and the Core as well. Use Sate Pestage's discount in building the planets up that you hold as fortresses. Build up your economy, infrastructures, navy and army. After which, slowly push out using Project Ambition of Admiral Daala. In fleet combat, micro your TIEs to defend your fleet since you are the Imperial Remnant you have the TIEs.

Everything you see in the story is legends any thing canon for the post Endor period will be in the Imperial Reign mod that was announced in February.

Genesis, great video as always! Though I do have a suggestion. if you're outmatched and have an opponent's shields down, try disarming them rather than taking down ships by knocking out all of their weapon's hardpoints and moving on to the next highest priority enemy.

27:40 hey you may already know this, but one thing that's helpful is to hit CTRL+A to select all units and then from there you can click on a unit type (ship or ground unit) and then it will select all within that same type. It's pretty helpful if you need to find a particular ship type and then want to focus fire etc. To expand on that, once you've selected a group you can assign it a group by hitting CTRL+1, CTRL+2 etc and then all you have to do is press 1 or 2 etc to retarget them. Super helpful for controlling units in a big skirmish!

If you want to read some good books from this Era I recommend the X Wing Book series and the first Thrawn Trilogy from Timothy Zahn.

@@GenesisKing that explains why you know what the Lusankya is but not who Warlord Zsinj is. Also if you enjoy the Thrawn Trilogy I would recommend the Hand of Thrawn Duology which plays at the of the current version of Thrawn's Revenge and Survivors Quest which plays 3 years later.

power to weapons that victory's have actively drains shields to increase weapons damage. this means in fleet battles they die faster than they should if fighting ships above or equal to their weight class

Do project ambition but later you have 57 weeks from the end of this video to do it since it would auto progress after 60 weeks postage can be kept around to make ships cheaper till your in a good place navy wise.
