Not to get nerd on ya but he was actually created by Palpatine and his master Darth Plagueis through the force. Thats why Anakin has no father, he was literally made by Sith Lords playing God. They were unaware of his conception but destiny literally reunited him with Sidious; pretty insane if you think about it. EDIT: Also, Qui Gons death changed his mentor to someone who resented the idea of teaching him. The song that plays during the fight with Darth Maul is called "Duel of the Fates" because its a duel for Anakins fate, it plays again in the 3rd movie when the emperor fights **** for the same reason.

There's deleted scenes of Anakin and Padme with Padme's family, bonding with each other and quite honestly, it changes the entire movie and atmosphere of their relationship. It's like a minute long and definitely worth the watch. I've never met someone who watched them and didn't think they should have been kept in the movie.
@samwallaceart288

Bruh there's so much untapped potential on Naboo. I'm sure after the war there was an awkward moment where Padme's nephews and nieces suddenly realize that Grand Master Skywalker and Senator Leia Organa are their direct cousins. And then there's the matter of the late Sith Emperor _also_ having a whole group of relatives on Naboo. . . I unironically want Padme's deleted family to pop up in a show the same way they brought back Mon Mothma's actor from the ROTS deleted scenes.

People would of complained anyway. Padmé arc in the movie about being either reserved or open to Anakin about her feelings is already pretty obvious. All those scenes do is spell that out to people who weren’t paying attention. Not necessary imo and Lucas cut it out because of runtime and how they intercut the two storylines.

I love EOM's "Shut The F Up" responses, they are 100% real. Yoda doesn't usually use the force for battle, thus he needs the cane. When it's time to fight, he uses the force throughout his whole body, instead of just his mind.

One of Samual Jackson's personal requests to George Lucas was to have a lightsaber that stood apart from everyone else, so you could always tell where he was during a fight. That's why his lightsaber was purple. I hope that after you watch part 3, you'll then watch Rogue One, because it connects the prequels to the original trilogy.

Clone troopers are just genetic clones of Jango Fett. Same with Boba Fett except he was unmodified as he was meant to be Jango's son. The clone troopers were far superior to stormtroopers and highly skilled but the Empire decommissioned them in favor of recruiting standard human recruits from different planets.

I like how they dealt with that in one of the SW Expanded Universe novels. The Emperor commisioned a second batch of clones (as by that point he had started to mistrust the original Kamino cloners), but because his new cloners had cut some corners to make the clones faster, they were far less accurate at shooting, with less training. Quantity over quality

Wait, I thought I read that the reason clones weren't used by The Empire was because they aged and died at an accelerated rate; the same way they were created. In one of The Legends novels, Palpatine was trying to improve the technology for himself, but the resulting clones had physical and mental issues. There are some great stories Disney could've chosen to tell. I guess they thought they could do better

Jedi can move objects including themselves with the Force; it’s how Obi-Wan and Anakin are doing those 30 foot superjumps from a standing position. Yoda is moving his entire body with the Force like a meat puppet. He’s so powerful it’s not just a jump or two but he can move his entire body like a doll in a long fight. Of course, this prequel movie takes place about 30 years before Return of the Jedi, when Yoda was 900 years old - here he’s still a spry 870.

Well maybe conceived here and in the next movie he’s born. 😂 I’m often reminded of St James writing about sin “each person is tempted when they are dragged away by their own evil desire and enticed. Then, after desire has conceived, it gives birth to sin; and sin, when it is full-grown, gives birth to death” If that doesn’t describe Anakin’s fall perfectly, I don’t know what does.

Disagree with both of u lol. What happens on Tatooine is him taking first step towards the dark side. Proves what Yoda was telling Qui-Gon Jinn in Phantom Menace. He let his emotion take control and slaughtered a whole village instead of just dealing with the one's directly responsible. He lost his way as a Jedi on Tatooine. I'd say the birth of Vader is in the next one with what he does following Palpetine's order. And what Anikin loses by the end of ROTS makes him Vader👍

Yoda is almost 900 years old in this film. He’s been conceiving his energy, in case he needed it for a fight, such as the one he had with Dooku in this film.

If you think R2 is gangster, you should watch Star Wars Rebels. There's a droid in it, Chopper, that's straight up a psychopath, and it's one of the good guys. It's not so much that Yoda is deceiving people walking with a cane. That may be his natural physical ability and when fighting he was using the Force to do things his body couldn't do normally.

Sifo-Dyas is a jedi who initially asked the cloners on Kamino to build the Republic an army. He's never seen in the movies, but after his death, Count Dooku (a former jedi) knew of his plan, and assumed Sifo-Dyas' identity (somehow) to continue the relationship with the Kaminoans and secure the clones for Sidious' plans.

The Storm Troopers are NOT Clones. They were, but the Empire executed all Clones as they falsely believed that regular people would be better than the Clones who were created as lethal soldiers and trained from childhood. This doesn't spoil anything since they only use the name in this movie, Tyranus and Dooku are the same person. Count Dooku was his name as a Jedi, his Sith name is Darth Tyranus but he never uses that name. Freed her not feed her. They are Clone Troopers, not Storm Troopers two different armies.

12:48, Sifo Dyas used to be Count Dooku's best friend when they were jedis. 10 years before the Kaminoans (the skinny white aliens) completed the clone army, Sifo Dyas was killed by a group of gangsters called the Pykes. The Pykes were hired by Dooku so Sifo Dyas couldn't tell the other jedis about Dooku's involvement in making the clone army. Dooku had to keep it secret, because he already turned to the dark side under the name "Darth Tyranus."

I love the fight between Dooku and Yoda so much. Also, the 3 beasties sent in to kill Obi-Wan, Anakin and Padmé are a reek (the rhino-looking one), an aklay (the one that looks like a praying mantis) and a nexu (the tiger-looking one). Fun fact: Samuel L. Jackson asked the producers if his character could have a purple lightsaber, so he could find himself easily during the Battle of Geonosis in the sea of blue and green lightsabers.

I remember when they still made really cool teaser trailers for movies back in the early 2000s. For this movie, they made a Spider-Man teaser trailer where it had some titles in the line of NEXT SUMMER.... THE BIGGEST SUPERHERO.... All in the style of the previous Spider-Man trailer. The same music and all... Only to fade to black and then to come back to this shot of Yoda, standing there, catching his lightsaber and all... I long back to those days. It's probably on KZfaq somewhere.

The troopers used to be cloned, but were eventually phased out due to their accelerated growth rate and replaced by kids that were recruited/taken from their families and trained until they were old enough to be troopers. Also, the way I understand it…Yoda can be so agile in combat because he’s so strong with the force and uses it to aid him in that regard. He’s still very old, so when he’s not in combat he’s walks like someone of his age actually would.
