Its more of a level up. Blue lightsabers are for Padawans and novice Jedi. Green is primarily Jedi Knights and Jedi Masters. Other colors for Masters can range from Purple,Magenta,and Orange. But only Grey Jedi's use white lightsabers

I'm not sure if it's canon anymore, but I've read that Blue is the color for a Jedi Guardian (good at combat) and green is the color of a Jedi Consular (more of a diplomat, strong connection with the force).

Yes the original designer of the Death Star in the old EU was tortured that way after the exhaust port weakness was found. Palpatine had the guy tortured to death and mind scanned over and over and over as punishment for that failure. When the New Republic arrested him and told him he was going to be executed for his crime of designing and building the Death Star his reaction was one of relief and just told them to be sure they make sure his death actually sticks this time.

My favorite not just for Vader’s turn back to the light and him fulfilling the prophecy of balancing the Force... but for many other reasons. First of all the Captain Rex Rebel cameo is lit af. Second, it’s very legendary that three people were playing Vader lol, I mean I know everybody knows that but they literally had a guy in the suit, a guy for the voice, and a guy for the face reveal. Although, Sebastian Shaw definitely somewhat looks like an aged Hayden Christensen. My only complaint though is he looks a little bit too old to just be 45. I mean the actor, Sebastian Shaw, practically looks at least 60 in the scene. So I was thinking if GL or anybody else was thinking about redoing the OT here’s who I would personally cast for that, and this is based on preference and how much these actors actually look like Mark Hamill, Carrie Fisher, and Harrison Ford: Sebastian Stan as Luke Skywalker - This one’s pretty obvious. Mark Hamill himself even said a few years ago that Sebastian Stan could play an awesome Luke Skywalker. I even think they should get him to play an older Luke for the New Jedi Order Era. Millie Bobby Brown as Princess Leia - She’s actually said for years that she would love to play the role and it’s pretty obvious how much young Carrie Fisher and herself resemble each other. Although she is still somewhat young, it isn’t hard with these days of technology for film corporations to do a little bit of movie magic by aging the actor a bit. Although that wouldn’t be necessary for ANH, because Leia is literally “19” in the film (19 years after ROTS for those who didn’t know) So I wouldn’t even see them having to age her much, because the OT remake wouldn’t be a thing for a few years. Although Sebastian Stan is getting kind of old to play a young Luke Skywalker so they would probably have to do a bit of de-aging technology for him. Anthony Ingruber as Han Solo - Okay, this one is perfect. First of all Anthony Ingruber is not too far off from the age when Harrison Ford played Han Solo originally in ANH. Secondly, he literally portrayed probably one of the most perfect Han Solo impressions about 10 years ago, and now he’s even better for the role because he’s 10 years older than himself in that. And thirdly, your probably wondering, why would a major film corporation cast him if he just does “impressions”. Well that was 10 years ago, he actually doesn’t just do impressions anymore and been in quite a few movies/films. It’s funny because he ended up being in a movie about his idol Harrison Ford, where he played a young Harrison Ford. Harrison Ford himself literally said he played him really well and it was almost like seeing a younger version of himself so therefore obviously Anthony Ingruber. Ewan McGregor as Obi Wan Kenobi - Why? First of all it’s Ewan McGregor ffs, he’s literally the nephew of the actor who played Wedge Antilles originally and probably one of my personal favorite actors to portray such a historic Star Wars Character. Secondly, the actor hasn’t aged whatsoever. And considering this takes place only 19 years after ROTS, this would give Ewan McGregor to portray a more realistic look of what Obi Wan would actually look only 19 years after. Now you may be thinking, oh Alec Guinness only looked so old because Obi Wan experienced PTSD from the betrayal of his “brother” and friend. Yes that could be a factor but I physically think it’s not possible for someone to age that hard in such a short amount of time. Unless Obi Wan went back to Coruscant to buy death sticks, he looks almost 70 not 60 in ANH. Also, even if they wanted to make Ewan McGregor older they easily could. Like I said it’s 2021, and de-aging and aging technology has been around for quite some time and aging technology, deepfakes, and CGI is only going to get better and more realistic over the years to were eventually you won’t be able to even tell. Hayden Christensen as Darth Vader - I think this would make the most sense. However, I only see him being Darth Vader with scenes where his mask his off and the final reveal in ROTJ when he tells Luke he was right. And yeah, same thing with Ewan McGregor. It’s Hayden Christensen, imo some of the best people to portray a young Obi Wan and a young Vader still as Anakin. Owen and Beru Lars - Okay I’m sorry but there’s no way Owen and Beru aged that hard in 19 years. There’s a possibility Owen did but I don’t see Beru aging from looking around 20 to looking 65 in a span of 19 years. It just doesn’t work, I think they should still look pretty good but you could even get the same actors in ROTS and maybe just fairly age them a bit. Boba Fett as Temeura Morrison - kind of self explanatory. Jabba the Hutt as CGI (Yeah he would have a voice actor but it’s 2021 we don’t need an actor in a giant suit to portray a slug essentially) I would love to also see in the OT remakes maybe a mini scene where we see how Darth Maul survived being chopped in half and escaped his ultimate fate of near death. Yes I know that was 32 BBY when that happened and he is in Clone Wars and Rebels. Just saying it could show him leading Crimson Dawn with Q’ira and then he has a flashback of how he escaped near death. I think Alderaan’s destruction would be a more emotional scene and we could see the Organas and other people on the planet the moment it exploded, like their reactions and them knowing they’ve met their ultimate purpose death. I think that would be even sadder if it was more modern. And of course, the three final scenes that would be legendary is SC 38 in ANH, the fight scene between Vader and Luke in ESB, and the scene in ROTJ when Luke goes up against Palpatine and his dad , Vader who turns back to the light and realizes he most one choose family over darkness, and two realizes this time he will not let Palpatine manipulate him anymore and this is the ultimate scene where he balances the force once and for all. For other side characters, like General Tarkin, I don’t know who you would cast. But remember with modern technology it’s not hard to perfect deepfakes, CGI, and de aging technology. Also, you may be wondering. Will this new OT remake completely obliterate the purpose of the old OT. Of course not! I’m only suggesting this if we wanted it to feel more modern and new. I think the OT would be referred to as the Classic Edition and the new OT would be referred to as the Modern Remakes.

Nah, the greatest twist of the whole trilogy was that the little green dwarf alien was actually Master Yoda. 😉 Vader's twist is pretty unoriginal and a very old school cliché from Shakespeare's books and tv soap operas. Leia's twist also is very common specially from hispanic tv novellas' shows way before 1977 😂.

But there were hints throughout Empire Strikes Back that Luke and Leia are siblings. Other than the "there is another" quote from Yoda, you have Leia hearing Luke call out to her through the force. Same thing happens near the end when Luke hears Vader calling out to him.
