A few user's stated I was wrong but at the moment based on all the information on the topic Disneyland won’t change their costume policy for guests looking to dress up in Galaxy’s Edge. Visitors over the age of 13 will not be able to wear the Star Wars robes and other costume pieces sold in the land while visiting the theme park. ( I'm pretty sure there is wriggle room for some parts as they had a a Jedi Train Robe at the parks and seen people wear ) and we are allowed to wear our Light sabers. There is a chance this might change but it also makes sense for the rules to not confuse guest and kids at the park.

All I would like is a Sith Lightsaber, depending on how much I like the designs of the pre-made ones I’ll likely create my own, a Sith Holocron, and maybe Asokha’s (not sure how to spell her name) lightsaber if I have enough money left over.

I can’t wait to build my own lightsaber. I’m not a huge Star Wars s fan but once I’ve seen that ceremony and the quality of the saber I’m all in. Now I just have to wait until GE opens in Orlando

True thin neck Luke skywalker lightsaber and maybe a costume, and maybe a custom lightsaber of my own as well. Black tunic with a purple blade sounds cool :P

They really went all out with this, a lot more than the other themed parks. It really seems like this will be a great place to go to if you want to unintentionally spend all of your money in one day.

Welp, I now have a reason to go to Disneyland. Better start saving up for a long while, haha

I need to go there so much!!! I know I will choose the Peace and Justice path, a true Jedi all the way. Probably get a legacy saber as well, I'm thinking Obi-wan or Luke's inherited lightsaber. Get a belt clip for my personal one and a display stand for the legacy.

I am planning not to buy one thing as my first thing, but an entire Jedi set. As in all in one trip, I will be purchasing a custom lightsaber, holocron, robes, lightsaber clip, and the Jedi gear set. I really can not wait for Galaxy’s Edge. May the force be with and have a nice day.

Apparently the metal is cheap metal but good quality for display and the blades get damaged kinda well and easily if ur blade is wobbly that means I got a faulty center plastic piece

Do they sell lightsaber boxes like the legacy ones for our custom lightsaber?

I read in a release the customs were around $180 or so. Not sure if the prebuilt character sabers will be the same price or not.

Almost positive you're wrong about the costume thing, the whole idea of Galaxy's Edge is for it to be the most immersive experience possible. That's the whole reason they're selling the costumes to begin with there, they want you to completely immerse yourself in the experience. Saw a video recently saying exactly this

so when they say "battle ready" do they mean that the blades will be the same type of blade that are used by saber forge and ultra sabers where you can full on contact duel with them. if so this will make me even more excited to get them

Kind of disappointed that they aren't making a bigger attraction out of the lightsabers. They could have built something inspired by that episode of the Clone Wars, where the padawans have to do a series of challenges in an ice cave to acquire their kyber crystals.

I was wondering your thoughts on the luke thin neck saber that they were displaying. I was thinking that the "universal blade" input was too wide to fit the thin neck design, do you think that they will have a special blade for his, or maybe an adapter that would make the neck wider to fit the universal blade? Or would it be just a hilt alone with no blade attachable? I was so excited to see it because that is my favorite saber, but I bummed myself out thinking of the reality of the design.

I will probably just buy a custom lightsaber and one of those black robes.

So far I've heard nearly all the custom parts are metal, but I've not heard anything definitive about the nature/elemental one. Both look plastic but I like the spiral design, however I won't spend $200 for a plastic saber.

Are those sabers really suitable for saberfighting? They look way too thick to do some complex spinning from I-III episodes. Holocrons however are rly cool.

So what's the canonical reason to being able to buy the lightsabers of characters? Are they replicas made by the guardians? Or are they meant to be the real deal, which begs the question as to why they're selling a Kylo and Anakin lightsabers if the park takes place within (presumably) the time before Episode 9 but after Episode 8?

I need the outfits, and I also need the park to make an exemption for the no cosplay rule or I won't be able to fully enjoy it. Or it would have to be allowed to wear a full outfit if you combine parts of different outfits to make your own so it is clear that you're not a part of it, or if you can get like a visitor's badge (like a big badge that says Like "Civilian" or "Visitor" or "Trader" or something like that, and which would still look like it belonged in the world of star wars, but would only be worn by guests in cosplay

So, the pieces you have access to depends on the 'path' you purchase? That is disappointing. I rather have access to everything and build from there.
