Neopixel sabers will always be the superior saber but if your just on a budget and like collecting sabers for the sake of collecting Legacy is a cheap and good collection. They aren't perfect but reasonable in price for the avid collector. Also not all legacy sabers have different sounds I have the Return of the Jedi Luke and Plo Koon saber and they both have the same ignition sound.

@Jiomancy Unless your constantly using your neopixel for cosplay, photoshoots, and saber battles I don't see a need to always just get neopixel. If its you want your favorite characters lightsaber then yeah I agree save up and get it as a neopixel but if your just trying to collect sabers for just a display the legacy are fine as is imo.

@@FindingTheForce To me they both sound the same the only difference I see is Plo Koons speaker on his saber doesn't sound as strong as Lukes for some reason but the ignition sounds the same to me.

I love that Mace Windu blade. But, again, I would rather have my outer casing that I got at W.W.S. at Galaxy's Edge with the Neo Pixels guts, except still have the fantasy of being able to switch Kyber Crystals out at anytime.

I love lightsabers and I have a decent amount of disposable income but I can't justify spending more than $200-$300 on a lightsaber that is more of a collectible and might be played with on occasion or used during Halloween. I took my 10yr old son to Savi's to build the custom lightsaber. At $260 it was costly, but the experience together with my son was well worth it. I've bought him many toy lightsabers and he loves them. I've been considering buying the Vega 2.0 from Imperial Workshop because it is cool and affordable. For collecting the different style lightsabers from all the different Jedi/Sith, I think the Galaxy's Edge Legacy sabers are a great value for a collectible.

Got an even more accurate Mace Windu hilt from Korbanth. No out of place button under the gold bars, BMF engraving and two different types of black grip strips to choose from. I got their empty hilt so perhaps shipping may very but I received mine within about a week. Its built in such a way that It accepts slip in chassis and comes apart in 3 sections for easier install. Art sabers and other companies Mace Windu hilts are nice and fairly accurate as well but by far the Korbanth MW3 hilt is the most accurate I've seen yet. Superb build quality 👌

My favorite saber is from The Force Unleashed 1 that StarKiller used. Not many companies make it, but I have one from Korbanth Sabers and it was my first neopixel and I love it and still take it with me to the park since it is a saber that Disney will probably never do so it is a more rare saber to see with it’s exposed Kyber crystal in the hilt.

I still have the old force FX mace windu saber. I think I got it for like $65 when gamestop was clearancing them out. the main thing that sucks about it is that this was before you could remove the blade.

a good blade plug is from sabertheory because their blade plugs make it so the light can still come out from the top

I got Luke's, Anakin's, and Vader's lightsaber, along with the black series Darksaber after seeing the galaxy's edge Darksaber in comparison working on getting the suit of Vader piece by piece, other than the sword I recently got the new Black series 2022 version of Vader's helmet which is awesome it failed to disappoint other than the fact it has no voice modulator to make you talk like Vader, next is the light up Chest piece and the belt after that it will be the armour and cape but now I would like to get Mace Windu's lightsaber for my big Sis since she like the rest of the family is a Star Wars geek and love the color purple

I'd say my only problem with Artsabers (may have been just me) is that I didn't get notification that it was shipped till a few days after it arrived. Other than that I'm happy to finally get one as I've wanted one since they had the ones out in stores shortly after EP3.

honestly i think that the box is what makes or breakes the sales for galaxy edge, a display and storege box for the saber if neopixel did something closer to those boxes the sales would boost for them

I have yet to buy from Artsabers, but I do hear good things about them, so maybe I'll buy one, if I can afford it. Most of my neo pixel arsenal is Ultimate Works, which I am a huge fan of. Most of my RGB or LED base lit hilts are from Ultra Sabers, from before 2019 thru 2020. I have not had any dealings with them since that time, but those hilts are the ones I can use and abuse because they are made to be used, not as display or light use.

Artsabers doesn't have the best reputation. I bought a palpatine xenopixel from them and it turned out ok (at least for now) but there are more reputable companies to buy from which carry the exact same products. Darkwolf Sabers and padawan outpost are just 2 examples

hey man, how did you get the pulse on your lightsaber to go that quick? the only way I can get a noticeable pulse on my xenopixel is through fire blade or unstabe, and both are pretty overkill compared to the traditional lightsaber.

Hey earth, I think I just have it set to pulse actually. That’s pretty much my favorite blade profile that looks like the traditional sabers in the films. Although, if you popped a memory card into your computer, I wonder if there’s a way to adjust the number and maybe have it pulse🤷🏼♂️ faster?

I can't bring myself to pay almost $300 for a Hasbro Elite F/X. I wait until there is some sort of sale or I stack some gift cards. There is no way I'm paying that much more for a neopixel. I don't duel, I don't need music or soundbites. I just want a decent saber that displays well and is fun to put a blade in and swing around now and then.

@Finding The Force From what I have seen, the baselit hilts from artsabers can be upgraded to a neopixel. is that true?

You absolutely can, and it's generally straight forward. You need 2 thing 1. Xenopixel chassis, is will have the upgraded Xenopixel board inside, led lights so you can use old baselit plugs( all of the 2022s have them) speaker and battery, all in one kit for $70ish. 2. An pixel blade, most commonly the 1inch, will be the same as your baselit blade, those are around $80 . You'll basically remove the Baselit core, which will slide right out after removing a couple screws. Put your new core in. It's that easy. So for around $150 you can. If the saber is a character specific saber you want to upgrade, it's the cheaper way to go.If not, you can get a brand new Xenopixel saber for a non character specific for $150 or below. Let me know if I can help futher.

I want to ask you what is the difference between artsabers obi wan neopixel lightsaber and the heavy duelling version because I am thinking of buying one and don’t know which of the two to get. Also I want to ask what are the pros and cons for each one and which would you recommend for a beginner?

Hey Daniel, thank you so much for the question that is a great one. One is a base-lit RGB saber and the other is a neopixel. Check out my Artsabers collection video, I think I mention the differences a little more. I would pick the neopixel which is fine for "light tapping" or even going "medium strength"... I would only recommend getting the RGB if you're going to be hitting it pretty hard and often. Thank you so much for the great question.

Yes, they do not actually manufacture these products. They do, however, cover them under warranty for a year and ship them anywhere in the world. You have to be careful who you’re buying from. 😉👍🏻

Hey Adriel, that’s a great question. I’m going to say yes absolutely! Especially if you and your partner understand to only go like 40 or 50%. I think their website even says made for light tapping. 👍🏻

Neopixel Sabers are considered the worst replicas on the market.. also they are around 80-100€, that allrdy tells me they are not good in material

The problem with that is you can get replica LGT neopixel sabers for LESS than the Galaxy's Edge sabers. Better tech, more accurate hilts, and less money. So there's really no excuse for why Disney is not only selling poor quality sabers, but over charging for them

Oh, and the 13:01 chapter thumbnail looks very much like it says "f***er" so maybe a different font? I'm not a font expert. Is it funny? Yes. Does it sound like the kind of thing you'd say? No, I feel like I've heard you edit down to "polite company" language very consistently when things are sub-optimal.

disney for real has dropped the ball om lightsabers. ESPECIALLY the kylo ren saber with the generic red instead of it being unstable.....

Hey Erik. Well you’re definitely not wrong, the way I think of it is that they are giving us lower costs/Disney versions of our favorite sabers. The Kylo Ren blade does flicker 🤷🏼♂️

You have to pay for the ticket or the gas to get there You have to pay for where to stay You have to pay for food You have to pay to buy the saber You have to pay for the tickets And then you have to pay for the way back All of that is well over 600 dollars which can get you any neo pixel you could think of

Nothing worse than a content creator getting free merch then pushing and trying to convince people to buy what they got for free 😂. Your friends lightsaber “neopixels” isnt a collectable in the same sense as disney merch even though you try to olay it off as it is. Its not. Much better lightsaber for cosplay and such yes but collectible wise disney would be the one to go. Display wise either is good.
