My personal dream for galaxies edge is to go in full costume, go to oga’s cantina and play a round of subak for some 3D printed imperial credits, made by me. It’s be an experience that I imagine would take immersion to the next level and the winner would have some cool souvenirs for keeps.

I used to work at Arizona Renaissance as a character out there. One thing they don’t want people doing 100% accurate costume because they could get mistaken for a Disney character. Also it has to do with safety because you wouldn’t be able to wear a robe on space Mountain or big Thunder mountain without it getting caught on something. Plus riding boots or jackboot like what Han Solo wore or an officer in the imperial forces shoes could slip on wet or smooth surfaces causing injury to themselves or a bystander.

We booked earlier this year for November thinking that rise of the resistance ride would be open but then the announcement came and said Jan 2020 !!! You can wear a lot of the stuff they are selling there (you can wear your Rey vest, all the Rey stuff you can wear and the Jedi tabards and belts, you just can't wear the robes due to security reasons.) and you CAN take your lightsaber as long as it's one you bought in Galaxy's Edge!

Wish that I lived near Galaxy’s Edge so I could pick up some of that stuff from the theme park. Maybe someday I’ll head down there when I have the funds. :D

Yeah, Galaxys edge is fun as hell, but it still feels like a dollar store version of Star wars thing. You know, like, When you go to a dollar store there aren't usually any good star wars stuff, there are these kinda knock off products that kinda look like star wars, like they couldn't afford the licensing for star wars so they put out some weird aliens and ships and name it something like galactic heroes or space battles or stuff like that but it has like the same font so people who are not actually star wars fans may get confused and actually think it's star wars stuff? something like that

I had no problem with my robe at Disney world also lightsabers are okay as well
