I cried when I watched this... just beautiful!

Still remember the day my Dad and I and my brother saw this film in 1977 at the Elane cinema in Scarborough. An absolute mind-blow. It was such an out-of-this-world experience. Kids these days have such a digital life that the magic of the experience of seeing something like this for the first time is very difficult for them to achieve.

Now that Disney owns Star Wars, we're gonna lose that impressive 20th Century Fox fanfare. A shame, a shame.

Awesome! Possibly the first really popular movie series that introduced a whole younger generation to symphonic music. Today we should take a lesson from that! John Williams is a master!

Star Wars in Concert is a wonderful show that every Star Wars fan should experience. We saw it at The Hollywood Bowl and it was amazing.

I'm now a 20yrs old student, I can clearly remember the first time I watched Star Wars, I was only 2 then, however the feeling was too strong so that there's no way I can forget it like I forgot other things.

and I was at Nassau Coliseum for THAT performance, as well... major memories ...

Dear Disney: this is how I would like to see the Star Wars Episode 7 premiere, live John Williams music and lightshows with thousands of my fellow fans screaming and hollering around me.

Once Episode 7 comes out, it'll be time to make another trip to the store to pick up the soundtrack.

Just listen to the crowd and the energy. Absolutely fkn AWESOME! Reminds me of seeing the original Star Wars movies in the theaters as a kid, and when the Opening Fanfare come on, EVERYONE in the theater yelled, screamed, clapped, and cheered! I'll never forget that. Absolutely fkn AMAZING!! :-)

I saw the concert at the Izod Center in NJ last week, it was AMAZING. Tonight I was given an even BIGGER surprise...this ENTIRE CONCERT including the dialogue is available as the bonus disk that came with the soundtrack to Revenge of the Sith from 2005. I mean I would have paid to see the concert live anyways, but now I can enjoy the show anytime I want.

I just realized that that musical lead up to the actual Star Wars theme is NOT going to be there for Episode 7 through 9 because that is actually the Twentieth Century Fox' Fan Fare!! End Of An Era!!

I attended a performance in Ontario,C.A. this past Sunday afternoon at the Citizens Business Bank Arena. They had two shows. As I mentioned, I saw the afternoon one(3PM). This was first time attending such a show and I was completely flabbergasted and amazed! Anthony Daniels(C3PO) was the narrator. I have never seen any of the stars in person and I was most impressed. I hope to attend many more of them down the road. This is an awesome video!

I saw this when it came to the verizon center in D.C. and it was AMAZING!!!!!!!!! john williams is a genius!

I went to this concert in Portland, OR at the Rose Garden (or whatever they're calling it now) and this was by far the best concert I've ever been to. Before the show they had on exhibit the original costumes and a whole ton of Ralph's original concept art.

I've been watching star wars since I was a kid of 5 in 1982 and this gave me goosebumps like crazy!

Going tonight w/ my six year old son....words cannot describe how f'n excited I am not only to go see the show, but to see my sons face when the lights go down and the music hits!

Seein this was so much fun. Being a Star Wars fan and mucisian i absolutely loved this. During acouple pieces like the opening fanfare, the duel of fates, a hero falls, and princess leia's theme i got chills. Amazing experience

I saw Star Wars in the theater when I was 6 years old and have been fascinated by it ever since.

Man this seriously brought back memories for me when I was kid and saw this for the first time WOW!

I got chills when the THX theme started I held my breath when the Fox fanfare played I imagined sitting there in the audience and experiencing this when it showed A long time ago in a galaxy far far away... and I cried the moment the original theme started / the STAR WARS title showed. I have been a fan of Star Wars (original series) for 25 years now and love John Williams' music for the films - experiencing something like this would be one of the moments in my life, I'm glad I saw it here.
