Star Wars in Concert - The Asteroid Field (BEST QUALITY HD!!)

This is The Asteroid Field from 'Star Wars in Concert' on 05/15/2010 at the Amway Arena in Orlando Florida. This is from the 7:30pm showing.
Let me know what you liked best about the whole concert? What was your favorite part and what was you lest favorite part?!
I'd love to hear what you think!
I only have one negative thing to say about the whole event, and I'm not even entirely sure it's actually negative. But because of the huge 3 story screen and awesome light show, I kept finding myself completely integrated with all aspects of the show (music, video, lighting) that I stopped paying attention to just the music at times and became focused with everything as an entire experience. And the only reason I did was because the music was so pitch perfect and beautifully played you could swear it was the soundtrack being played over the PA system.
I kept finding myself having to pull myself back out and really pay attention to just the music (that's the biggest reason we all paid to go to this event). The whole performance was beautifully done, and I was on an insane high when I got home. Wanted to share the videos I have with the entire world!

This is on here soely to share with others an amazing event they may never have a chance to see. Also to get people to go see this event live if they do tour again or if they are about to tour in your city right now. Seeing and hearing it live doesnt even come close to these videos. Enjoy!

One of my all time favorite bits of film music. I have to confess, I would have actually liked to have seen the concert not use the dialogue, and just heared the music alone.

I wouldve liked them to use the scenes from Empire than episodes 1 and 2. it just didnt feel right. All in all, very nice performance. That was my only gripe about it....very small really...lol.

Dude, I love this version of the Imperial March. It's so threatening, and causes you to feel small and endangered. What a shame that it's so short in the composition. Still, so powerful, and fitting for when the Empire destroys some Rebels! :)

Well, to me, it's more fitting of an Imperial officer or admiral observing his fleet among the stars, planning his next move to outsmart a band of rebels, rather than in the heat of battle. Either way, both are good. :)

Alejandro Ávila Gallegos Umm not the band wagon, I'm just appreciating that Episode 5 is generally a good movie compared to Episode 2, where the asteroid sequence is straight out poorly done and they could have at least come up with something original rather than reusing the asteroid field idea

That is awful. The orchestra are way out of time and the scenes playing bera absolutely no resemblance to the music. Episode 2 coruscant during the tie fighter chase?!! WTF? thank you so much for sharing this as now I know not to waste my money

The problems with the music go beyond just an imperfect microphone.

Scott Anthony ......It does. Being in front of an organic orhcestra is what it is. analog to digital conversions always suffer. And the microphone they used was top quality.

Marimba a little bit out of tempo but at least they play in tune. Star Wars is a challenge if you want to play it live, I'm a professional musician and I can tell you.

It's the recording quality you knob, not the orchestra.
