They told a while back that Ben Burtt, the guy who is responsible for most of the iconic Star Wars sounds, from lightsabers, blaster shots to R2-D2, was also part of the team that made him sound the way he does.

CrusaderFTW so far every astromech droid communicates through beeps, but those beeps are different enough that you can tell them apart (with R2 and Chopper being the most unique). I imagine it’s just the standard sound across the board

CrusaderFTW Sound design is a real thing. Obviously we can program computers to make sounds for the droids but all of those sounds come from someone putting in the work to make all that possible and create the sounds via digitally or in the real world

It does... on the surface. I just saw that the game weighted 43 go, for a open world it is extremely small. Assassin Creed Odyssey weighted 90 go, the double, and Fallen Order come out as a final version, no microtransaction or DLC... this game will cruelly lack content, be careful.

This is the direction I would like to see EA go in the future! No always online "live service" bs, no microtransactions, just a good old singleplayer exploration adventure, meaning you get what you pay for! Can't wait for my pre order to arrive next month!

Idk about the Knights of Ren. They would be another 6 dark side heroes. Maybe they would fit better as Kylo's bodyguard units like the ones Leia, Krennic and Palpatine had in Battlefront 2015 (assuming DICE brings back that feature)

It's because the game company behind it is Respawn Entertainment. They made the absolutely amazing and underrated Titanfall games. Also, The studio is made up of the people who made the best Call of Duty games.

@@DerektheDalek Technically it isn't cancelled. The game's direction changed when it moved over to EA Vancouver, but it still exists. I believe EA Motive are still working on it, and I assume it is the game EA was referring to recently in the earnings call where they mentioned a new Star Wars game is in the works and is set to release in 2021-2022. I am sure it is still going to turn out great though.

Frostbite Cinematics Actually what happened was that Ragtag got cancelled, handed to another studio with orders from EA to make it more in tune with their remits, and then whatever that was gonna be got canned too and given to another group to make something simpler. This was all in a Kotaku article I think. I suspect that what you say is probably true though. 😅

The trailers are hiding stuff from us. We know that Cal starts on Bracca, and from this trailer we know that he goes to grassy plains planet (probably Dantooine) where he gets BD-1. Next we know from Game Changers that we will get a choice of where we go next, those choices being: Kashyyyk, Zeffo, and Dathomir. After completing those planets in any order we choose, We don't know what happens, Respawn's marketing team has been very secretive on it. Umbara and Mygeeto are possibilities, as you can get those lightsaber hilts from the pre-order, but I'm not sure about that. What I am surte of is that we will get a final planet, somewhere awesome, because we have no idea of where the story goes beyond him meeting Saw Gerrara (aside from Cal searching for a Mcguffin and finding out about order 66. This game has me hyped. I can't wait to see if I enjoy it

The best thing about the game is that the deluxe edition isn't that much more expensive, at least on PC, it's enough that I'd get the deluxe edition over the normal version.
