That’s because i couldnt… i couldnt beat him😭there i said it, you happy now, he was by far the hardest boss i have ever encountered. I barely managed to slip between his fingers and escape his wrath on story mode difficulty. Im still traumatised from the experience… to think such a vile entity exists in the star wars universe, the mere thought of him is making my hands shake as im writing. I do find it weird in terms of story that bode is the hardest boss fight. Obviously the only reason hes so hard is because hes the final boss in the game, but then its a bit weird because they made darth vader easy because of story. He is so fast with a lightsaber, i know hes an order 66 survivor but when did he use his lightsaber for those 9/10 years. My tip for you is to take ur time, understand his movements and attack patterns, see what comes next after each attack. And if you get hit or about to die, dont lose momentum, act as if urr still full health with 10 stims. You are the boss fight, not him🫡

@@AlawiDenGhosty Got past him finally. Just barely. I really think Dagan should have been the final boss. Bode and Cal could barely beat him, yet Bode is more difficult? And like you said, when was the last time he even touched a lightsaber? He had to hide that he was once a Jedi. Yet he’s faster than a Jedi Master that he could barely win against? Dagan probably should have been the final boss on Tanalorr, with Bode being the second to last boss. Would have made more sense imo. They made him this difficult just because he’s the final boss but storywise it doesn’t make sense. He’s only about as experienced as Cal.

​@@AlawiDenGhosty Oh wow, her being "woke" never crossed my mind, that's some crazy mental gymnastics people are doing. On the topic of Cere being impressive, Cal is definitely up there as well with being able to have such emotional control, willingly being able to go into and out of the darkside, which is the main reason I don't think he'll be a Sith because of his masterful control but instead an extreme badass top tier. There's a couple moments in the game where he's able to control his emotions in heated situations pretty damn quickly as well.

I definitely agree with cal🫡 but i dont think hes as strong as cere yet, but if he continues what hes doing and is still able to control his emotions, he’ll definitely be one of the most powerful jedi in star wars, really look forward to seeing what they do with him in the next game 🤔

Thanks man, means a lot 🫡 I personally enjoyed dual weild because i can attack them and drain their block meter, forcing them to counter and attack, giving me another opportunity to parry. I do agree with my block meter tho, its so small when you use dual weild, but a price to pay for mobility. Kudos for you too for taking on bode with crossguard, i only used cross guard against ravis. I found cross guard high risk against bode, so i stuck with dual weild. I also carried double sided for his blaster shot and, heres a little secret, your block meter regens faster ;) if u look back, u will see moments where i just randomly change to double ended as bode is doing his long range stuff so the bar speeds up then change back. Again thank u, it really does mean a lot :) and well done for beating them on grandmaster too🫡this game is definitely harder than jedi fallen order

"Breezed through them" probably not, they just mastered the fight, you don't know how many tries it took, i can assure you it was not first try no damage. That does not take away from the Achievement though, it's still very impressive, you are also capable of doing all bosses no damage on grandmaster, but it Takes a ton of time.

That it does 🫡 ravis and bode definitely took the longest, around 2 hours 30 on ravis and 2 hours on bode. Did take me many tries, they always sneak that 1 hit on me and i have to restart😂 but yeah, by the end, with lots of training and skills, its a breeze 😎

It really depends on the person’s play style. For me, when i fight lightsaber duelists, i use dual wield to have constant aggression against the boss, make them feel like im the boss fight yk. But against rayvis, i use crossguard, simply because u need heavy damage but also need to be cautious by taking ur time with attacks. As of right now, i enjoy switching between dual wield and crossguard. I attack with dual wield, chip away their block meter and be agile with dodges, parries and reflexes, and switch to crossgaurd when i have a good opening for strong attacks. Whats also amazing about dual wield is that u can cancel attacks, which can really help when ur being aggressive. Its the only stance that does this which is a shame because in the last game, u could do it with the single blade but now u cant. If singles blade did have attack cancel id use it more often, so instead i use dual weild. But again, it really depends on ur playstyle and what u enjoy🫡 would like to hear ur thoughts on stances too :)

@AlawiDenGhosty yeah I agree! I use dual mostly for the reasons you listed, constant pressure, and attack canceling. I just think it makes the most of openings while you have them but is also relatively safe as you're rarely committing to a long animation. I also like the dual wields force parry for attacks like Dagans orbiting saber that are hard to parry when your focus is on dagan himself. It shuts down any momentum he had.

Blocking is just as important as parrying. Dont see blocks as a failed parry, but use that to get momentum and get ready to parry the next attack. Blocks reduce ur block meter by a lot, and parries increases it a decent amount. I like to see it as for every 1 block, u need at least 2 parries. Sometimes you lose momentum, and blocking is a good way to bring it back and some attacks can actually stagger you if you block, such as the dash swing followed by an unblockable, which is why i never parry those because 1 small error and ur hit. And sometimes if i know he will be doing a 3 hit move set, i know that his 2nd and 3rd attack are easier to parry. And 2 parries against dagan stops his attack moveset and he changes. Quite a fair bit of things to consider🥲 sorry if its a lot

The most cere did was push him into a book shelf and drop one on him, she did nothing that was life threatening to vader, even if she did get that stab into him, vader wouldve walked it off. Vader took it easy because he thought it was another basic jedi fight, but she reconnected herself with the force and became the jedi master she was back in the clone wars. But again, shes no where near as powerful as starkiller, starkiller was a threat, cere was just strong

For a game that takes around 25 hours give or take… maybe 🫡 anything for the king of the pirates As to when i will attempt such a thing, i dont know yet. Im currently doing my finals for my degree, exam on Tuesday and Thursday. So id say maybe next week i could potentially give it a go. May take me a few days and require some breaks but its doable 👌

@@AlawiDenGhosty This full run of the game damageless does not take a week but probably about 1-3 months, also the run is way Shorter than 25 hours, more like 8-10. Also, flawless is damageless and hitless, which means 0 Blocks, only perfect parries, I've heard a Certain part after Rayvis is impossible this way.

By a week i meant a perfect run week😅 but yeah definitely would talk longer than that. But u sure its simply just no damage? Havnt heard about no blocks. And because im on grandmaster, im sure it would take around 25 hours, took me around 30 by speed running and fighting the bosses

@@AlawiDenGhosty I am referring to official team hitless Rules for sekiro for hitless. Flawless is defined as hitless + damageless in most communities. Also, no way it's 25h for an any%, that's some first playthrough lengths. You just need to Route it first.

Ill just go for the no hit damage run🥲 because there are many moments that blocking helps with gaining momentum and improve parries. And yeah thats true, did take me a while because i was finding my way🫡hopefully i can get that path sorted, thank you :)

@@AlawiDenGhosty I think a lot of people just assume he’s a master because he’s a very skilled jedi but I don’t think that’s true. I think that cal isn’t really up to jedi mater level in skill. You can make an argument that in this game he really rises to the rank of jedi knight because Bode was in the same boat in terms of rank and he gave cal a very hard time against bode.

Yeah cal is still a jedi knight, we saw the potential of a jedi master when we play as cere, but cal will definitely be more powerful by the 3rd game. I also like to think that the 200 years he was in a bacta tank had some effect on his skills, feel like it nerfed him a little

@@AlawiDenGhosty I don’t know about that bacta is like a tank of stem cells it allows the body to be heal what’s already there and to some degree but doesn’t regrow limbs. Vader used a bacta tank but it never healed his burned skin or lungs. One of the explanations I heard for this is that the dark side corrupts and doesn’t allow the bacta to do its job properly and of course in the movies vader was always breathing the same way so they can’t change that. But I think Dagan had already fallen to the dark before that, he killed jedi member and even if he hadn’t know it at the time the moment he was betrayed the order was dead to him. Even then though despite the gameplay the cutscenes to me are canon, and in it Dagan canonically pushed cal to the point where cal had to embrace the dark side to beat him.

Vader has almost been beaten many times by weaker jedi, what makes vader stand out is that hes always the last one still standing after every fight. He does not need to be flawless in every battle. Also theres a 5 year gap between the games, it’s enough time for her to reconnect with the force, kenobi was able to do it within days. Also i dont think vader was close to death, even if cere stabbed him he would’ve survived

Its garbage writing thats what it is. This debra wilson cancer is the reason why the boss fight was so stupid. If starkiller was fighting vader then this boss fight would make sense. But the sjw garbage ruined it. Vader would have beheaded cere within seconds regardless of the force connection. Star wars is dead. Only saving grace of this game was stig Asmussen with his gameplay
