I always liked the contrast between the First and Second Jedi Schisms: -the first started purely with good intentions to try to diversify the Order. In flirting with the dark side, however, the Legions of Lettow ended up tragically corrupted. Xendor was even vindicated by many. -the second started with selfishness and the desire to play god vaguely disguised as an attempt to expand the Jedi's knowledge of the Force. These ones have no tragedy nor a desire to better the Order; they killed their masters in anger and immersed themselves fully into the dark side of the Force. Such was the utter corruption of the Black Legions that only in death was when Ajunta Pall realized how far his followers and himself had fallen into darkness. It's really no wonder that they were the ones that started the infamous Sith Order.

Correction: At 5:55 it was Sorzus Syn, not Ajunta Pall, who studied the Sith and led them to Korriban.

Loving these EU Star Wars vids! Keep the great work! For an order supposedly rooted in light side philosophy and rejecting the dark side among other ideas, the Jedis history sure is a violent and bloody one
