My buddy and I proxied some commandos and range Troopers in a game a few weekends ago. They're both really cool! Complete the Mission definitely had more impact in our game than in this one, but not so much that it felt unbalanced. On a side note, I'm so stoked for the empire riot control squads! Great video, as always!

So great listening to Joe slowly realize the comments are about to start rolling in at 31:00. Also as others have said basing the blue guys with bossk and then scoring with the storms would have tied the middle and helped Don complete the mission

It's so funny when there's new stuff on the board, whether it's you guys or my own games, it always feels like it's hard to get it to shine in the way you hope it will. Sometimes it's skill and sometimes you get Complete the Mission and it doesn't want to work XD

Great game - it’s cool to see 3 units of the standard commandos in action. I think Yoda will be my go-to force user for them as well since he can feed them actions with guidance. Might end up being tighter on points, but it’s hard to pass up Delta Squad - that infinite courage and independent recover at 25 points more is a compelling draw. Glad to see them complete the mission!

The hardest opponent to play against would be Don for 2 turns, then Joe for the rest of the game. 🤣 You'd never be able to complete the mission against that opponent.

Awesome game chaps! Down to the wire again. The Complete the Mission tokens certainly are an interesting one. I can see them coming up trumps and being deciders in some games.

Even if complete the mission doesnt always pan out the extra safety is always a nice to have. The blocking with the clone squad was great, one of those things i always forget to consider

What a great game! Complete the Mission was a surprise in that the surges didn't really pan out much, but otherwise the commandos are really strong. Those range troopers aren't slouching either though. I did have to laugh at Don's comment at the end of round one, things do tend to go off the rails after that point. It was a good finish though even if Empire lost. Everything was left on the table, so to speak.

Very close game. Looked pretty intense. Sounded a little frustrating, at times. But in the end, the Clones were able to Complete the Mission. Looks like the Range Troopers and Clone Commandos are going to shake things up. At least for a while.

That was a tense game, it’s a shame complete the mission didn’t proc more but it was still cool to see triple commandos and triple range troopers in play. Looking forward to getting mine soon.

Seems like the complete the mission tokens have a high degree of variance. While they didn't do much this game, I'm sure other games they could swing things a lot.

Interesting how the dice swing so much. I got into Legion specifically because I hoped that Delta Squad would be a unit someday! Sadly, they just don't strike me as being worth the price increase over regular commandos. Complete the mission seems powerful in theory, but looks like it ends up being a lot like the Z6. Lots of potential, but a total slot machine with the dice. Also, that Yoda art card is beautiful!

Clone Commandos with complete the mission sounds like so much fun to run. Plus having hq uplink makes it even better

Don't sleep on hq uplink on commandos. They need to recover all the time so giving them orders to trigger target and letting you give orders to corp for fire support is big. Worth the 30 extra points imo. It helps them complete the mission

It was a really close game. If Don had saved the aims when the commandos still had armour he probably could have finished off the last commando with the second attack. Not sure if the republic could have completed the mission with the thumbs missing.

As a Rebel player I hope we get some complete the missions! Rebels are all about hope and doing whatever it takes to complete the mission!

Good game! in the end, couldnt those stormtroopers who couldnt reach the point base the blue phase 1s? if you base the non leader then youd have to pull the others around and pull the leader off of the key position.

Awesome game! Complete the mission seems hit or miss and I'm still not sold on range troopers. They seem "okay" at best.

I think the commandos need at least one medic per unit. Not sure they were played right here, though when your opponent rolls 67 crits, strategy really doesn’t matter

I like the idea of complete the mission a lot, I think its actually a cooler mechanic for characters like Cassian Andor and Jin Erso than the one turn cards they get to capture that vibe. That being said, and having no positive sentiment associated to the clone commandos (didn't play video game with them, and didn't really care for them in the clone wars cartoon) I feel like these two new support choices being infantry is not positive. I worry will make the game even more prone to infantry every day all day. You guys were both rolling for basically crits only the entire game and got enough to demonstrate IMO why vehicle armor isn't sufficient and why impact isn't nearly as important to the meta as pierce is. I have no easy fixes and since they just did a baseline rules update I don't imagine this will change anytime soon.... but I just feel that there's too many reasons not to take vehicles and their strength (armor) is too easy to overcome. Infantry tends to have bigger dice pools (another trend in the game IMO) and easier defense tech. When support choices are also infantry (in addition to corps and special forces) it just indicates to me that the designers are not on the same page as I am with what a star wars battle looks like. I still think the way you guys film your games is the most immersive, naturally viewed video cast of any I've seen. Thanks for the good show!

I‘m not sure those Super Commandos are much fun to play against. They are super defensive in a faction that is already very tanky. Three of them are a pain in the a** with those three Complete the Mission tokens. Sabre users could be a hard counter, ignoring the shield and the armor upgrade.

Don could not get a break, those evil clones completed the mission and this match showed how this game is bloated with defencive tech

First fifteen minutes I heard doesn’t like to pull out, hide the zucchini, playing by themselves. It’s difficult to complete the mission.
