Another excellent batrepc- it's nice to alternate between the quick skirmishes and epic mega-battles from your first (and upcoming) batreps. I think your narrative voiceover is a great idea, but needs a little volume boost. I loved the panning sweeps at the end of each round to show the overall boardstate, and to highlight your awesome terrain and custom models. Only one minor critique, along with dialling up your voice, could you slightly reduce the music volume, there's a bit of a disparity when I was straining to hear your narration, only to be mashing the volume key when the booming music kicked in. I appreciate all your hard work and I know this is only your second upload, but keep it up and you'll be gaining subscribers after every video 🙂

I really appreciate your feedback Matt! Im glad you seem to enjoy my videos so far, I think audio is my biggest hurdle right now, I have to learn my editing software a bit more to perfect the levels. I will definitely drop the music volume as I agree it can suddenly be loud af lol. Thank you again for the constructive feedback!

the commandos are CLASS!! i think i saw them on etsy alright and was only thinking, wish i had an army to add them. hats off. and the terrain, and the layout....love it!! its crazy watching say 'normal' youtube videos you get bored after about 7/8mins but here after 24mins, im like, wheres the full game!! LOL great stuff

Much good in this report! I appreciate your mature response to earlier commentators' critique of the OP nature of the Commandoes, and look forward to viewing their performance with their revised cost. The miniatures: wow, excellent. Again - great paint, on both sides of the table. This report continues from the first in style - great pacing, the post-turn flyovers showing the state of the board are excellent, the in-game photography and narration are properly linked: these are easy reports to absorb for folks with a basic understanding of the game. I corroborate some issues with the audio, but on my end in a quiet room they were not as severe as others report; however, the disparity in levels between commentary and music volume are noticeable. Overall, another great report! Looking forward to the next in the series! Thanks for showing this.

Just wanted to add to my criticism above regarding the commandos... this is great work! Its an awsome scenery with amazing pieces of terrain, well painted minatures and very good BR to follow. Pls continue this work!

And you didn't feel like those commandos are way over the top somehow..? With their crazy attack pool and skills they act like Trooper AT-ST and would cost at least 170+ points per unit, not 90, and 1 health would've been more than enough on these tank units with red dice and sourge to def.. Just compare them with the arks who went down way faster and already cost more than the commandos.. After 2nd attack of round 2 this became extremely boring to watch as they just blew off entire squads with all their rolls while barely suffering anything. Appreciate the effort and liked the mix of batrep and clips but was just way to one-sided..

Im increasing their points, but other than that its a narrative game. Im trying to build a little story of linked games. They're supposed to be powerful but low model count. And technically Maul killed a whole squad, I just forgot he had pierce somehow during the attack lol. Also one health and surge is a death trooper and commandos are definitely superior than death troopers defensively.

I have to agree with those comments made before: The commandos are far too op! Their dice pool is stronger then any other model including jedi, sith an tanks. They have by far the strongest defense of all special forces, only missing "immune to pierce" but with red die, surge converts, shields and immune to deflect. And even "force powers" with the push equipment?! Omg... this is no fun to watch when the enemy even ignores Anakin because he/she MUST put all fire on the commandos My suggestion would be to make them a kind of "Strike team", one model with a obligatory heavy weapon upgrade and the rule, that you have to take even number commando units (to make them at four minatures on the battlefield). That would make the player take two special forces slots for two units with some limited capabilities.

Commandos are Lore Wise Super OP, and that is how you could Balance them, not more than one Squad, normaly they Operate mostly in 4 man Squads, they are Super Tanky and then it is important if you take Star Wars Legends or Canon Commandos, the Legends are the by far more OP, Because they use an inbuild shield inside there armor that makes them super hard to kill, my sugestion would be make them Super Good at killing normal units like B1 and B2s and let there weakness be Vehicles, and limit them to one Squad, and make it so that you cant Take ARCs with them, because, Commandos dont like ARC Troopers and lore wise wont fight in the same Battle, and they never used Lore Wise more than one Squad in one Battle because there where not so many commandos out there, that is what i would have done, as far as i know i could be Wrong, at the Battle of Geonosis there where about 4 Squads Commandos Deployed on the whole planet.....But Awsome Battle i love Commandos they are by Far the Coolest unit out there in the Clone wars, and let us be Honest here, Jedi suck and only Survive because of Plot Armor XD there is a Reason Why After Order 66 they got Transformed to the Imperial Commandos and where used as Jedi Killers and where super good at it

this is a great video and well edited, my only issue is your narration, you need to boost your volume by at least 50%. I'm watching this on my phone at full volume with noise cancelling headphones and it's hard to hear what you are saying.

Yeah, not sure what the issue is, when I finish editing and watch the video it sounds perfectly fine, then the audio seems different when I upload it. So I have to figure that out.

This is the first of your reports that I didn't enjoy. The commandos are way over the top for my taste - 90 points for twice the firepower of an AT-ST, surging, and 24 effective wounds is not in line with other units at all. The bonkers upgrades, Infiltrate, and Bacta Capsules as equipment make it even worse. The report reflects that pretty well, since the battle is completely one-sided and boring. I hope you can tone down custom units in the future, or at least add them to both sides if you prefer to have them in your games. Rules-wise, I noticed a couple of glitches; * Anakin can't use the attack from Air Support, as he does not have the required Clone keyword. * T-Series embedded in B2 units still have only one wound, as it is printed on their card. * Poison X requires a wound to activate. If the defender saves all hits, no poison token is gained.

The latest video featuring commandos had their stats toned down. Its not a competitive setting, these are narrative driven battles.
