This is basically my two favorite background-music channels doing a collab together. About the only way this could be better is of it was a full production (as oppossed to a capella) w/ Taylor Davis mixed in.

The part when they did ‘Throne Room’ gave me chills, though I don’t know why it was listed as ‘Binary Sunset’.

Both of those cues are basically 'The Force Theme', although The Throne Room is definitely a more transformed, heroic, up tempo version of it The Binary Sunset cue definitely has a different intro and a much more reflective feel (as cliche as it is, that specific cue is one of my favorite pieces of music). But yeah, it is definitely mislabeled

I loved Luke with the lightsaber pointing at Vader, and after Vader choked the storm trooper Luke and Rebel Pilot both were checking their necks

I think this collaboration showed how incredibly memorable the original trilogy’s music is in comparison, both were great performances, but I already forgot the prequel melodies while this will stay in my head all day now.

Well done!! The original trilogy's score is unmatched... and there are so many amazing themes/leitmotifs I loved as a young musician that they couldn't even fit in this video: "Here They Come/TIE FIghter attack" "Yoda's Theme" "The Emperor's Theme" "Imperial motif [not to be confused with the Imperial March]" "Han Solo and the Princess" "Luke and Leia" ... Heck, even "March of the Ewoks" and "Jabba's theme [featuring the tuba]" go hard.

This was so much fun and it really is incredible the staying power Williams themes continue to have and how much they still resonate. One nitpick - that's Throne Room, not Binary Sunset. Both of those are versions of the Force Theme, but they are entirely different cues. The Force theme is used about a zillion times throughout the movies but the cues themselves are distinct in mood, tempo, instrumentation, key and have their own little variations/flourishes. That little intro is definitely the Throne Room intro as is that counterpoint playing behind the main theme. Binary Sunset is a lot more melancholic and reflective and has a different intro. I, uh, may have gone a little crazy during the pandemic and did a full rewatch of the movies where I cataloged/analyzed all of the Force Theme variations and picked out my favorites.... :)

Funny story, I didn't read what that was about and when the Acapella started I asked myself how it would be, if they would have had _Peter Hollens_ with them as well. Then I saw the guy in the middle at the top and thought hey he looks kind of _Peter Hollens_ as well. Then I read the describtion and realised _„Oh, it is Peter Hollens!“_
