The space travel and combat looks a lot like LEGO Skywalker Saga, and I'm not mad about it!

I think so many modern games are focused on having as much roaming space as possible, but I would much rather only have a few systems to explore in a Star Wars game with each spot chalk full of detail and people, which has me excited for the game

Massive Entertainment (the devs for this) also made The Division 1 and 2, and they've always been known for their world-design, so when I heard that they were making an actual open world Star Wars game, I got VERY excited. So far this has not been toned down by any of the footage I've seen. Can't wait!

i love it when games cover up loading screens like they do in this, idm them hiding the loading, it adds more immersion to have it load while flying through something or going in an elevator etc.

the gameplay looks like it was lifted directly fae Naughty Dog's Uncharted series.

I wonder how many more quests are in that camp. It might have been a trailer placement, but that info was in the 1st building next to a rope to climb. There had to be more further in if that is the actual quest from the game.

Gotta say (even as a stubborn AC fan), I was nervous at the prospect of Ubisoft doing a Star Wars game but Massive seem to be pulling it off in a big way. I guess I shouldn’t be too surprised, because this is the team that brought us The Division and both of those games are fantastic.

I’m oddly optimistic about this game. I think low expectations can only help it. And I’m genuinely hyped about being able to explore some of the sequel trilogy planets (Cantonica, Kijimi, etc.)

I just got my preorder in yesterday for that early access. Don't normally preorder anything these days but Star Wars is Star Wars man, I can't wait.

I feel like the uppercut punch animation was overused just in this video, i hope theres more to keep it fresh in the full game.

Okay, i'll admit, the more i see of this game, the more my initial skepticism (based on the fact that it's yet another Ubisoft-Open World game and they have their many, many issues) wanes and my excitement goes from cautious to enthusiastic. I might be getting this game as soon as possible after all, provided it's not as plagued by bugs, glitches and other issues at launch as has become somewhat of a tradition with Ubisoft games.

Looks good, but I'm getting Starfield vibes from this. Cautiously optimistic, it will deliver on its game play.

This is not a criticism against the game, this is a personal preference thing. I’m worried the open world is too big for me. I’ve got major paralysis of choice and prefer linear games. I know I’m a dying breed of gamer and everyone else loves a jam packed open world, but I just love a compact well written story.

Not gonna lie, while I am very happy it's a TV show, getting to play as The Mandalorian (Din) and experience his story, would have been awesome. Imagine this game but instead of this chick you're a Mandalorian. Heck, give me a Bounty Hunter/Assassin Star Wars game like this that gives us Assassins Creed/Hitman vibes, in which you play as a Bounty Hunter or Assassin post Episode 9 (when the galaxy is in transition/chaos due to a lack of centralized leadership) and you get Bounties/Contracts and you have to (Hitman, AssCreed style) take out your targets. All while there is a big conspiracy going on that you are an unknowing agent of and get caught up in. Why can I (and so many other normies) think of like x100 amazing ideas the public would love but we keep getting crap, generic games or cancelled games?
