I came here after watching the last episode of "The Bad Batch," and the thing that disappointed me the most was Scorch's death. While I enjoyed the whole series and the way it was concluded, I still had my complains, but none of them were as domineering as this Clone Trooper's finale. Scorch has always been the life of the party, the hilarious, and badass trooper who is described as "...the heart and soul of your team..." for Delta Squad. That's why it stings to see him being so serious in this series, which was seemingly justified through the inhibitor chip taking away his jolly personality, like what it did to the other Clones. While his cameo was great and exciting, he did not need a conclusion like that. If he was to be involved in this series, then make him do more than just being a bodyguard. Give him an actual story that continues after Sev was left behind, and how he, Boss and Fixer are feeling about Sev. The story could have ended with just Hemlock and Omega running away, and Scorch being somewhere else. Hopefully there's a chance he's still alive. After all, he's wearing katarn-class armor, and if Hunter survived that fall in Season 1, then so can Scorch.

I 100% agree with you. Loved the episode but my main concern is scorch. I firmly believe he survived and maybe seeing as how he was “left behind” by the empire would inspire him to rejoin delta squad.

It makes me sad that clone commandos, in general, were heavily nerfed. Even the commandos in standard white armor felt like regs

Came here to see Scorch be himself… I still can’t believe what they did to him in Bad Batch, he did not deserve to be turned into an evil version of Fixer

I regret that I didn’t recognize Scorch or have familiarity with how he’s portrayed in Republic Commando. However, after seeing all this, I’m a bit disappointed at how Scorch was done dirty in the Bad Batch. Unless he’s not actually dead
