I thought this would be Scarif after Rogue One as well.

Adywan originally meant for the planet to be Despayre, from the 2007 EU novel "Death Star". The Empire used prisoners from the planet as slaves to build the battle station. Of course,the EU is no longer canon because of Disney. So this planet could now very well be Scarif.

The revisited version was done back in 2008, so it was way before Disney bought the rights to Star Wars.

Oh yes it is! Lucas destroyed his own movies with the crappy special editions ffs! The revisited editions are the only versions that i can watch and actually enjoy beside the original unaltered trilogy! Eh, it's a matter of opinion. If you're trying to watch the film as Star Wars, on its own or as the begining only of the OT, then the original is perfect. If you're trying to give it the theme and feel of being a link between RotS and ESB, and want to attach themes from the rest of the series to it, then I think the Imperial March fits perfectly. It's really a result of the fact that much of modern Star Wars, including its music, is derived from ESB. If you want to watch ANH on its own as Star Wars, the original is perfect. But I think this version lends consistency in theme and tone with the rest of the series.
