The Night Sisters aided Ventress when she needed help, The Mandalorians came to Din Jari ‘s aid when he needed it, then there’s the Jedi Council.

The Jedi Council was too worried about public opinion rather than standing by Ahsoka's side. This is a very heart breaking scene.

This was basically the final nail in the coffin for Anakin to hate the Council and what the Jedi stood for.

All those "powerful" jedi masters and NO ONE could sense that Ahsoka wasn't lying??!?!?!!!! WTF!!

This was probably the final push Anakin needed to fall to the dark side. After this point, he starts to spiral something fierce.

Even Obi-Wan knows this is wrong and he allowed this to happen, sitting up there silent as a statue. Qui-Gon must've been spinning in his grave seeing this.

Who designed that chamber. If I'm about to be judged and possibly have everything I've worked for stripped away, I don't really want to be twirling around like an idiot as I get looked down upon (literally) by the council. Sounds like a Mace Windu design.

The look on Anakin's face tells you that this moment made his decision to join the dark side stronger.

The Grand Inquisitor was confirmed by Dave Filoni as to being in this scene and the scene where Barriss confesses. I believe TGI is the guard who rips the braid off of Ahsoka

She had every chance to turn to the dark side but never gave in. Makes her "I'm no Jedi" line that much more powerful. Because she was the best of them and the Jedi turned their back on her.

God, this scene is so heartbreaking. Actually makes me feel a little less terrible about Anakin leading the attack against the temple in Episode three.

"You've already made your decision, haven't you? THIS MEETING IS JUST A FORMALITY!" You can legit hear the sense of betrayal that Anakin felt at the Jedi Council. They don't even give a damn about Ahsoka's story, or the fact that they were actually going to allow an innocent girl, a loyal and true Jedi, to be convicted of treason. They just wanted to maintain some image for the public. Honestly, if it were me, I would have been utterly disgusted by their hypocrisy and left too.

I literally don’t see how Ahsoka didn’t break down crying at this point. Not only did she go through so much to try to prove her innocence, not only did she helplessly watch as Letta Turmand died in front of her, not only was the council refusing to look at all the evidence with unbiased eyes but on top of ALL of it, she’s being kicked out of the only place she’s ever been able to call home, the place where all of her mentors and friends and “family” were, the place where she grew up. She knows the council has turned their back on her, she knows that the entire temple probably thought the same thing as the council until it was proven otherwise, she knows that her only hope is Ani and maybe Padme if she’s able to convince the courts of her innocence. The fact that she’s able to remain so composed even though she feels utterly distraught is something I will forever admire. Her entire world is crumbling yet she doesn’t shed a tear, she lets herself feel what she needs to feel but she also keeps her head up and faces the next stage of “justice” with grace and poise (Also, I hate how Mace says Ahsoka’s last name. It’s pronounced “taw-no” not “tah-no”)

Biggest mistake Jedi made was equating the goal of protecting the galaxy from the Sith with maintaining the Republic.

There was definitely evidence against Ahsoka, but she still deserved a fair trial, which she was never going to get with Tarkin running things.

Anakin is the best brother Ahsoka could have. I love how he defends her and is by her side at all times.

This is one of my favorite episodes. Seeing how much Anakin stuck his neck out for her and went to whatever lengths he had to to clear her name shows his leadership qualities and love for his student while also displaying how fed up he was with the jedi order displaying glimpses of the dark side trying to save his student before it ultimately possessed him completely.

Why wasnt this in the prequels? Goddam i sympathise so much more with Anakin after seeing how Ashoka's betrayed by the order and her leaving because of it, it adds so much context to why Anakin gets so disillusioned with the council in the last film... ... Imagine if the first two films where the story of the clone wars which led to the 3rd film, my god that wouldve been so much better...

I still favor Jedi Order a lot more than Sith Empire but damn that was harsh. Like, they had put a 17 year old Padawan through such trauma by kicking her out of her home basically.

I know Plo was probably in her court... but I wish he'd been a bit more vocal about it. Even Obi-Wan was more vocal in his opposition, Plo... was kinda neutral about the whole thing. I think the most emotion I saw from him was the kicked puppy look he had as he watched Ahsoka walk away from the Order...

I honestly love scenes like this; where we see Anakin powerless, even for all of his Chosen One strength. Where the world is in his way and he can't just... push past it.

This isn't unlike actual legal cases in real life. Biased and unfair.

As incredibly wise as Yoda was it’s shocking that he didn’t see the truth in Ashoka’s words.

Who else thinks that Jedi Temple Guard who removed Ahsoka's silka bead is The Grand Inquisitor.

After watching this, I'm actually glad that Order 66 came into play.

“Did she help you obtain the nanodroid technology?” Objection!!! Windy gives no evidence firmly establishing that Ashoka had contact with the technology in the first place. The question is essentially the same as asking’ “When did you stop beating your wife?” The phrasing is misleading and presumed guilt of the defendant with out establishing it.

One of these Temple guards is The Inquisitor from Rebels. When he watched this trial it started him down the dark, before order 66.

And this is how Sith lords are created, shit if I was in Ahsoka's situation I would've joined the Dark Side hella quick!

This trial is despicable, outrageous! A shame ! He never would have have happened. The Jedi Council is a Betrayer! The Separatists were right; The Jedi are corrupt, and the Republic as well. Ahsoka did not deserve that. Not astonished that Anakin has been hostile towards the Jedi, and is wary from them thereafter.

The most infuriating thing about this is that the Jedi, who are supposed to represent justice and equity, are having a trial that’s a complete sham. It’s a kangaroo court, plain and simple. No matter what Ahsoka said, they’d already made up their minds.

"I've come to realize what many people in the Republic have come to realize, that the Jedi are the ones responsible for this war. That we've so lost our way that we have become villains in this conflict, that we are the ones that should be put on trial, all of us! And my attack on the Temple was an attack on what the Jedi have become: an army fighting for the dark side, fallen from the Light that we once held so dear. This Republic is failing! It's only a matter of time." Hearing this and what Ahsoka went though was what made her realize the Jedi were more about politics then following the Will of the Force. "Barriss Offee was wrong about a lot of things. She let her anger cloud her judgement and she tried to justify her actions without considering their wider effects. She was afraid of the war and she didn't trust people she should've listened to. But she had a point about the Republic and the Jedi. There was something wrong with them, and we were too locked into our traditions to see what it was. Barriss should've done something else. She shouldn't have killed anyone, and she definitely shouldn't have framed me for it, but if we'd listened to her-really listened-we might have been able to stop Palpatine before he took power." It was because of these mistakes on the Council that led to it's fall and the Sith's rise to power. If only Qui-Gon Jinn was alive, he could've stopped it from happening.

The fact that people in the comments talk about this scene like it’s real life just shows how good this show is and how much we are attached to those characters.

Anakin: This meeting is just a formality! I like that they focused on Obi-Wan after Anakin saying this, like he knows that his apprentice is right to gets angry.

I still can't get over how the Grand Inquisitor was in this story arc and was one of the guards standing behind Ahsoka during the scene where the Chancellor questions her! 😀

This was one of the best but most painful scenes in The Clone Wars. Shows how blind the Jedi Council was. One of the defining moments in Ahsoka's story arc.

You lost the Chosen One when you left the Padawan... The Sith opened there waiting arms to him, and you let it happen as soon as you made that one decision. The Jedi have fallen, Anakin has fallen, because of you.

This is the exact moment she realize the jedi order was a bunch of bullshit and that there was no point of going back. No wonder she ended up leaving and becoming a grey Jedi

This arc always comes to my mind when Luke tells Rey how the Jedi Order incompetently stumbled themselves into their own downfall from the very apex and height of their power. The order was sloppy as fuck and was blind on complacency and self-righteousness, it makes it fitting that they got blindsighted by somebody who had been plotting for well over a decade behind the scenes.

“But I’m NOT guilty!!” That was probably the saddest Ashoka line..

The way Ahsoka was unfairly punished made me feel a ton of her pain when I was fired from the part time job I needed for school and loved so dearly 😔 I felt just like Ahsoka, that I was stabbed in the back despite all the hard work and effort I put into my job.

They basically handed her over to Tarkin for the Death penalty surely they knew that would most likely have happened, no wonder Anakin was so easy to turn after stuff like this happened, he slowly lost his faith in the Jedi already then they hand his student over to the courts and death

Imagine in this room after a few years . Only Vader and Grand Inquisitors standing and GI asking Vader : everything alright ? - Yes Do you remember the day the Jedi expelled the Padwan Tano ? - Yes Lord Vader . In fact I was here during her trial . Just like the others I was bliend but then after Barris speech I learned that the Jedi needed to fall and after that day I promised myself that the when they do i would be there to burn it all from the ground ... You know when you attacked the Jedi Temple , it was I who killed all the guards for your battalion to get entry and finish the Job. - I Gues that we did the right thing . The Jedi deserved this and they got it ... it was not only me who thought soo , many had seen it but few accepted it .

Everybody take notice that Obi-Wan said NOTHING. He was silent like a graveyard. In this case he was confused, but I believe he stood with Ahsoka besides Anakin and Plo. He was so devastated when she chose to leave.

Every time I rewatch this show, I have a really hard time continuing watching when they make it to the temple bombing arc. The way the council treats her in this scene after all she’s been through for the order irks me to my core
