It’s the end of the historic Clone Wars, as the forces of darkness have amassed great power in their bid to transform the Republic into the Galactic Empire. With the Republic on a losing streak, Captain Rex fears the Separatists are using stolen data to help predict the Grand Army’s every move. As the threat of defeat looms, Rex teams up with experimental Clone Force 99, also known as the Bad Batch. Together, they embark on a high-risk mission behind enemy lines to uncover the truth behind the Separatist victories in “The Bad Batch,” an all-new episode of Star Wars: The Clone Wars making its debut this Friday, February 21 on Disney+.

I love that they *actually* went out of their way to redo the unfinished episodes and added different scenes/dialogue/music instead of just finishing the animation on these arcs.

Thrawn I have faith since it's directed by Dave filoni who did the original clone wars and rebels both of which I liked so I trust Filoni to deliver. Lucas story team has let me down doe let's hope Filoni goes maximum overdrive on this one lol

If you watched the unfinished version of this episode there are a lot of small differences with how Rex and Cody act in this scene. Originally Rex is a lot more upbeat and buddy buddy with Cody but in this finished version he seems more reserved and kinda depressed. It’s interesting

Casey Half-season. 10 arcs/40 episodes left, or 7 arcs left if you count dark disciple novel and the son of dathomir comic. The arcs that are left or planned before cancellation for seasons 6,7 and 8 take place before the seige of mandalore. We were missing 2 and a half seasons when the clone wars was cancelled. Now with these 12 episodes we’re getting, only 2 seasons worth of episodes are left. The clone wars is George’s last contribution to the franchise, and so the rest of his story deserves to be told. #CompleteTheCloneWars

i speculate 2 possibilities: either they didn't feel it necessary to show his promotion since it's a minor detail in the entirety of things, or they were going to show his promotion but it was cut due to the complications of season 6, those being that they had more episodes planned when Disney bought Star Wars, but were for some unfortunate reason cancelled.

Its a different style... in some ways I preferred the Rebels art style especially in later seasons. Skin texture was a huge improvement for one thing imo

@Carlos Please, if you want to comment in animation, study it before doing so. Rebels was not "downgrade". As mentioned, it was a different art style, the team's choice, and in fact is better than CW in some aspects, like movement and minor facial expressions to convey emotion. If you like CW better that is ok, but I am tired of reading "downgrade", "cheaper", "poor" to reference Rebels animation cause we who study animation know how little people who say those things actually know about the process of animation.

Disney plus isn't television; instead ruined their television. All the new episodes aren't on tv anymore, they're here. I could imagine star wars rebels season 5 not being on disney xd when it comes out. Also George Lucas is still here, in fact he contributed a lot to Disney star wars

@Jeffees I would argue Netflix is considered television in some aspects. Since technically it’s also a VOD service for TV networks just not broadcasted at a scheduled time frame

@@SavageRicktator and that's what a streaming service is. TV is a scheduled time frame in which stuff isnt uploaded at once and you can't binge watch it/ it's not gonna be there forever. Unlike tv, on streaming services you could watch it whenever as many times as you want
