How did it not go into those things? The movie is literally about that. Or weren’t you paying attention? I certainly was. Don’t say I don’t know what I’m talking about. Ive seen the movie enough times and have listened to the dialogue and imagery to know that the trailer gives exactly what it’s conveying.

It makes sense the way they did it. Last Jedi implies an undercurrent of fear and uncertainty, typical of a second chapter of a trilogy feel. Rise of Skywalker, however, implies hope better suiting the end of a trilogy.
