Actually it isn't too crazy and if anything is a tip to the source material Jedi originally were able to do insane things that would seem like miracles. So this is a fairly average thing as in some what if stories lie is the one who becomes a jedi and just like Luke her affinity for the force is astounding so her tapping into it in a moment where she would otherwise die makes alot of sense in traditional star wars lore.

It was that this moment, the movie went downhill

It looks weird, but you could probably survive that long in space (with serious injury) in real life. She's trained in the force in both old and new canon and 'pulling stuff' is the most elementary force power. Pulling a body through a vaccum definitely wouldn't be difficult. This is also a universe where people walk outside in the vaccum of space just wearing plastic rebreathers (the asteroid in Empire, they aren't even covering their eyes). Her being able to move herself and survive is perfectly reasonable. The same thing for a ex-farmer milking an animal for food. It was just shot in a really offputting fashion. This movie needed lots of parts workshopping but I maintain it could have been an all-time great with the kinks worked out.
