They used Frank Oz's puppet of Yoda when it first came out in 1999. Then they switched it with the CGI Yoda from Episodes 2 & 3 when the saga went to Blu-ray and HD

The de-aging technology is really out of this world! Look how young they made Liam Neeson and Ewan McGregor look! And Natalie Portman looks 14. Looking forward to these prequels. Hope they're better than the sequels were.
