There was a version of the trailer on Steamable that did just that. It was identical to this one, but the laugh was replaced by "Equeeze me. Meesa back!" This is the version I sent my dad. He was NOT happy. It was 2 days before he saw the correct one.

I don't care how weak the sequel trilogy is, watching the audience reactions to the trailers still put a nostalgic smile on my face. Because THIS is Star Wars. It's more than good movies, excellent movies or bad movies. It's a bunch of people coming together to enjoy something they are all immensely invested in. I wouldn't trade any second I spent at Star Wars opening nights for all nine movies (SE re-release for the OT, I'm not that old) for the world, even when some of the movies disappointed me. Because it was time spent in the company of fellow enthusiasts, and such time can never be wasted. And even though most of Star Wars' future seems to lie in streaming, here's to hoping we can still enjoy a few of those movie magic moments together.

Okay, I'm seriously tired of repeating myself on this: *"LET THE PAST DIE" WASN'T THE MESSAGE OF THE MOVIE.* It was said by the VILLAIN, the character that you're NOT supposed to take example from and who's shown as being not only completely in the wrong by the end of the film, but as a massive hypocrite, since for someone so adamant on "killing the past", he couldn't bring himself to kill his mother when he had the chance and flinched when Luke mentioned his dead father. The REAL message of the movie was given to us by YODA, who basically tells us that we MUST remember the past, the good AND the bad, so that we can use it as a foundation to build a better FUTURE. A message that is much more respectful of the legacy of the Star Wars franchise than the crybabies would like to admit. But FOR SOME REASON, you and all of the movie's detractors chose to take away the message of the VILLAIN of the trilogy you supposedly HATE over that of ONE OF THE MOST ICONIC CHARACTERS of the saga YOU CLAIM YOURSELVES THE "TRUE" FANS OF.
