With the release of Shadows of the Galaxy this month, it’s time for an update to the Star Wars™: Unlimited Comprehensive Rules! Join game designers Tyler Parrott and Ryan Serrano alongside host Xander Tabler as they discuss some of the changes made to this document and what they mean for the game going forward.

What does supply availability look like for set 2, within the first three months of release? Will stores get enough product to support the game? I have stores near me that are concerned about product availability and the long term survival of this game, so much to the fact that they no longer hold events for SWU. Any insight into a concern by a customer on how the game will look by 2026? I purchased two booster cases when the game released and now there is no local support. I also see cases for set 2 running near $900 usd because of availability concerns. I don’t want to invest in set 2 for the same outcome… thanks!

Could we please get an official clarification on Krayt Dragon interaction with Devastator/Avenger? Per rules Krayt can't trigger its ability due to beign killed by Devastator's trigger (trigger rules 6.4 only allows Krayt Dragon's trigger to resolve if it's killed by an ACTION). As far as the rules states, playing a Unit as an action doesn't includes using that card's "when played", only putting it into play: Dragon on play Oppoment plays Devastator Opponent trigger D's when played, kils dragon Dragon is not in play, can't resolve trigger (6.3, 6.4 & 6.10 rules) Also, seems that now AMBUSH is now a "when played" trigger, so it seems to behave in the same manner...

Hello, I have a question, is ther any process to do in order to be a Judge authorized on SWU? or is just depend on each store?

Not a criticism, just a commentary: did you guys get a panel of players to talk about which rules are clear or not? Some of these updated rules add more confusion than clarity. There tends to be an issue where those who are closest to a project take things for granted when it comes to "intuition" and "common sense." There are many things that are "common sense" for designers, because of their intimate knowledge and understanding of the project. I think it might be worth looking into a panel to preview the next rules udpate before releasing it.

The vambrace flamethrower reads divide 3 damage, can I divide the 3 damage onto 1 player who has a shield? 1 damage to defeat shield, and then 2 to remaining damage to player?

What is with Marker-Upgrades and Upgrades . ? Trigger or destroye Power Failure the Marker/Tokens ?

The only question I have on this product line is if I'll be able to buy it or not. wave 1 I've got some bits but not anything close to enough for me to consider it worth supporting right now. I've I can't buy products to support deck building and play then its kinda pointless. Maybe you should consider a wider range of deck building products, Pokemon seems to have this down now, keeping the collector elements fully engaged but allow the game to be accessible with cool foil options for gamers as well at affordable prices.

Am i right in thinking with new Han, you can play a Shielded Unit, paying the cost, dealing the 2 damage and then add the Shield after damage occurs?

That's what the rules would imply, but so far I'm not sold that these new rules are actually more "intuitive."

So aggression han plays reckless gunslinger and deals 2 damage to her, she immediately dies and does not do 1 damage to base.

That's incorrect. The "when played" on Gunslinger still triggers, just after all of Han's abilities do. Same with Stolen Landspeeder. Its "when played" still triggers, but since Han had to finish doing all his things first, he killed it before its "when played" and so now it can't switch sides because it dead and out of play.

@@jetsdude8 no. Read what I said more carefully. They both triggered, but the speeder cannot resolve because its trigger is to be given to an opponent. ilit is now out of play and cannot do that.

@@Jacksuhn The Gunslinger says that "IT" deals the damage, so if it's no longer in play how can it deal damage? I'm not questioning whether you're right or not, I'm pointing out how some of the "clarified" rules are not actually "clear."

@@brandonwilson6718 It's confusing, no doubt. But the trigger is still there it just waits, not fizzles. Since you can't give a card that's out of play to anyone, that's the reason the bike doesn't work. Not that it doesn't trigger, it just fails because you cannot give an out of play unit to anyone.

No, they are "played" like normal, but from a different zone than your hand.

1st: Happy I chose to not collect/play Unlimited. I expect rule changes (fixing flaws in the design) to happen every 2-3 months. I'd rather not play games that accumulate a 40 page errata document. (Yeah, I'm X-wing BUTTHURT). 2nd: did anyone tell dude that he was gonna be on camera? #tanktop #shortshorts
