Starbenders and Irontom are the 2 true new and fresh rock acts of this decade. Melodies, bit of heartache, amazing harmonies, but its all fresh, you can tell they've listened to the past, but made it their own sound.

Came here as lead singer of Alice in chains said his 2 fav albums to come out was tool and these guys .. never heard them b4 today .. liking her voice and there sound . Singer reminds me of Lana del ray but bit more rockish and a wee bit of a 80s vibe ?? Love finding new music

I think the meaning of your video is not being afraid to be yourself. That some people might not like you for showing who you really are, not accept or respect you. But even despite all the bad things that happen and mean people that appear, it's worth to be your unique self because there are people who understand you and love you for you and will always be there for you.

I see the video as basically a ‘screw you’ to the limiting aspects of the music industry that hinder individuality and creativity for artists. Unfortunately, a lot of people (the hunters) just care about coin, and selling out, so they forget the true passion of Good ol’ Rock N Roll, which Starbenders (aliens) seek to create and also revive! 🦇

Goddamn, this sounds like they should be the biggest rock band on the planet. It just soars at 60s on. That voice. Ay yi yi. What a shooting star Kimi is. That howling Clapton guitar. Amazing. Pie in the sky, wonder. what Linda Perry would do for them. Pare back the murk with a bit more sheen on the production. Or, maybe Ed Buller, who produces White Lies. Crisper drum sound. Bass up in the mix more. Darkness intact still though. Anyhoo. please tour Canada someday; I'll pay the hotel bill in my city.

I think the dudes hunting Kimi down represent the pressure to fit in, specifically peer pressure that kids often feel to push parts of themselves down and hide them. When that one takes a picture with Kimi's corpse, it's someone who thinks they know who they're talking to, but doesn't realize that who they're speaking to is a fake. When Kriss plugs his guitar into Kimi and resurrects her, it's the use of rock music to remind her who she really is, and that people who want you to hide pieces of yourself aren't worth it. Sorry its cheesy haha

my interpretation: those being hunted are the people who don’t identify with elements of the modern world and long for some things from the past, like the once-majestic, now-subdued rock n’ roll (they are contrasted from the hi-tech troopers by their bare, primitive torsos). they are lost and scared in the new world but find new life in banding together and finding strength in each other’s artistry
