...which is very smart until the investigation is complete and he has all of the facts. Because from a business stand point which most people in this comment section probably don't understand, he is trained to make sure he doesn't say anything that is more damaging to the company than this unfortunate situation already is. However, he did say the most important thing I was waiting on him to say . . . that what happened to those young men based on what is shown in the video footage was wrong. He took responsibility for what happened and that is refreshing to hear as someone who's dealt with wicked bosses, managers, and supervisors at companies who denied everything and doubled down and protected the foul actions of their employees until they legally had no choice.
@cacturnebro27695 жыл бұрын
@@kingdomgorillastudios983 We know everything he did was to protect the company. The only reason he said anything at all was because of the media attention. Yes he said what happened to them was bad but that is saying that the sky is blue. He provides nothing worth of value besides PR control for his own company. I came here to see what he personally had to say for the situation. Then he told us stuff that we all ready know and assumed will happen. Don't even know why he agreed to the interview if all he is going to do is waste our time with responses that could have been been put on a single Twitter post.

Ya most busines dont tell you how they will handle situations between employees unless they did something to actually damage the name or company usually they would notify that they resigned. People want to hear a simple yes or no but they cannot simply answer that without going through the process and making sure that there is no legal actions against them. There have been cases where a busines let go of employees without a valid reason and the employee came back with a lawsuit proving they let them go without providing the reasons that went against company rules etc. He will most likely get interrogated and they will decide either to suspend him or move him to another branch.

He answered “No!” And he did so emphatically. 2) Does he believe this to be racially motivated? He wisely stayed mum on the topic, because he wanted to demonstrate fairness - even if it isn’t deserved. He stepped up big, IMO. He said it was inappropriate for the manager to have called the police. He doesn’t want to promise anything because he doesn’t know everything. He had to walk a tightrope between expressing the fact that this was wrong and calling out racism before he can establish it. I’m sure that he is aware of the elephant in the room, but gaslighting the situation wouldn’t have done any good. He has to (1) investigate the incident, and (2) either put that manager on strong notice (zero-tolerance order) or terminate her employment. *If you believe in “innocent until proven guilty,” that principle applies to EVERYONE, including that b*tch-ass manager!* The CEO handled that interview perfectly rly. He took responsibility, and stated publicly that he wants input from the two victims on ways to improve. Wtf else does anyone want?

D W I don't care if you believe it or not. It happened. I'm sure this happens to lots of non-paying customers everyday. @bastidface6 жыл бұрын
D W And the manager was a black man. He was nice as long as people bought coffee or pastries, but he wouldn't tolerate freeloaders (OF ANY RACE) taking up seats of potential customers. We bitched and moaned about it, but complied so he wouldn't call the police as had happened to the two guys at Starbucks. All they had to do was buy a cup of coffee or leave, and none of this would have happened.

Policy says that un-paying customers aren't allowed to use the washroom. Fair enough. You should get all the facts straight of the incident before making a judgement call. "Treat a man based off his actions, not by the color of his skin" -Martin Luther King Doesn't matter if you are white/black/hispanic/oriental/jewish/gay or any gender. If you do not follow company policy and the employees ask you to leave, and you refuse... That is considered trespassing. The Police asked them to leave and they still declined, so they got arrested. I don't think they should have been asked to leave, because personally I think that policy is BS... but I'm not a Starbucks executive making the decisions. We all have to abide by their policy or we are free to chose one their competitor Instead of playing the race card, maybe it might be more beneficial to pressure Starbucks to change their washroom policy. Instead of trying to frame the situation for easy clickbait.
@lepermessiah26086 жыл бұрын
I wouldn't like it either, because where I'm from you can use the bathroom without buy something at most places. But from what I hear, most places up in the north make you buy something because they have problems with homeless people using the bathrooms to do drugs or puke, so I understand.

Because if so if they asked for the menu but couldn't choose anything for like 30 min is that also loitering? What cuz they didn't order in your time frame?
