I wouldnt call the zerg more disgusting soo much as more monstrous except for the gross noises buildings make.

This is why I love the mass recall mod for SC2. Keeps the SC1 sound and aesthetics but with improvements like better group pathfinding from SC2.

It’s very rare to see guardians pay for themselves in 1v1 games unfortunately. They are pretty fragile for their price and as a result quickly dispatched by storms and irradiates thanks to their air unit clumping. Seems to me like Zerg got the short end of the stick in the late game because Storms, Irradiates, Corsairs and Valks really abuse the lack of air unit collision made worse by the mutas’ short range, and vaporize them before they can abuse acid spore corrosion.

Broodlords are a joke! They take too long to make, are slow, dumb, and they get destroy by Thors, Viking, BC, voids, tempest, and even marines with stim when caught out of position. By the time you get a good amount your opponent most likely has a counter or they just mass at your base. Better go with other builds.

@@DeJuanchi27 this is cap oh lord the cap. broodlords are like the phase two of a build path, something u put in place after u rush corruptor/muta. having even just 4-5 brood lords makes a huge difference when sieging anything, its just infinite ling spam. u just keep a load of corruptors nearby and boom u are borderline unstoppable to any ground based build lmao. yes getting caught out with your broodlords is bad but knock knock, same thing with early game queens. just know where to put them they'll do a ton of damage. guardians dont have anywhere near the damage potential as brood lords and i dont know what you see in them considering theyre basically the same unit

Depends on how efficient you were. I could end games before the other teams had more than 2 marines or Zealots thanks to Zerg Rush or Drone Rush if you really wanna be a monster.

not that hard especially you got position at 11 / 12 oclock, it's easy. he also wasting much resource and time at begining. i always compete it around 20 min. sometimes if my neighbour (1 or 9 o'clock) is terran. i will kill them use guardian then stop and send swarm of zerlings to rest of enemies. it more fun than stress controlling these. he lucky cause didnt got much pressure from tank and static storm

StarCraft kind of already has movies: the Alien trilogy for Zerg and Predator/Avatar for Protoss. Having said that, game to movie is almost always terrible, except maybe Dead or Alive. They got the spirit of what DoA was really about and the acting didn't matter anyway.

It's true though that if you want to go defensive with Zerg, zerglings are not the way to go, so it makes sense it took some time to build the defences. Especially when you are against 7 opponents, you would be crushed. So I suppose quick sunken colonies at the choke point would be the best way and try to damage with the drones in case of a rush. Zerglings are most useful for rushing, but when against 7 opponents it wouldn't help...

Yeah it only worked since he didn’t get ling rushed and he didn’t draw toss on the left base. Plus having Terran on left meant less tanks.

Not really, Dark Swarm + Hydra is quite dreaded when you don't have Science Vessels, Lurkers, or Storm to kill them. And remember that even without Dark Swarm, Hydra is dirt cheap both in resources and supply in BW, plus it's Hatchery Tier instead of Lair Tier too. Also, Devourers are meant to be used in conjunction with Muta or Hydra. Something like a dozen or slightly less to achieve 9 armor reduction on enemy air unit blob in one salvo, which practically double the Muta or Hydra AA damage and reduce enemy attack speed for the next minute or so. They're not meant to be used as sole AA units like Corsair.

@@machaiping just like sci-vessle has a "fuck protoss" spell and one "bugspray" spell, so to does defiler have one spell for each of the other races. Dark swarm is highly anti-terran since their only melee unit is firebat (and also some splash damage from tanks), and plague eats protoss un-helable hp through their shields.

It is possible from any position, but if you spawn where you can't protect both your natural and expo at the same time then it is significantly more difficult. My favourite position is bottom left because of this - you can protect your expo there too and mine more gas.

@@kingcu Zerg are also fine (but yes more difficult), make guardians before lurkers will do. Protoss zealots without a wall will crush the defense.

Cant tell right away. Either its Big Game Hunters, or Hunters. BGH has around 50k resources while Hunters has standard 1500 per base.

I believe it's because the lurkers attacking the white terran make AI 'think' I am using a ground build. About 5-10 minutes after guardians are exposed their counter fliers are everywhere.

broodwar AI is not all that great after all, just look at the way all the other AI just standing around because they don't know to attack the Hatchery blocking up the path, instead keep try to kill the spiky behind it , while white team just keep sending medic ahead of they own marine and walk right into enemy base...

​@@XAM86 ИИ работает немного иначе, даже если им дать изначально хренову тучу ресурсов они продолжат строить рабов, здания и юнитов так как будто начали всего с 50 единицами минералов. Это просто программа которая работает по скриптам, и у всего заданно свое какое то количество, время и место(да и места их возобновленных построек иногда ломают скрипт и они перестают развиваться). Может у вас какие то другие ИИ которые наплюют на экономику, но мне таких не попадалось.

@@user-ki1wv5cf9m я играл на похожей базе, где два газа на базу и минералов вроде 25000 на одном кристалле. Если на обычной базе они нападали 4-5 раз и все, дальше не было ресурсов, то на этой карте я воевал часа 3 наверное. Просто постоянный поток атак был… Эх, ностальгия))) Надо зарубиться на выходных
