I commented separately but my opinion is Fellowship of the Ring is mostly extremely boring. LotR in general is pretty great, don't get me wrong, but it was 3 hours of not a lot that was all that interesting. If you can stay awake long enough you can see the coolest part which was 2 minutes long. "YOU SHALL NOT PASS"

I feel you lowko I have also only watched the LOTR directors cut because that’s the only version we owned. I have so many nostalgic memories of getting up to switch the DVD from part 1 to part 2 of the 3-4 hour movies.

Hi Lowko, I enjoy your tiny stories and they're quite amusing. About the "Attention Span of a 12-yr Old"..... I had the same thing. I remember reading was such a boring thing to me. Until I found this book: Another Fine Myth by Robert Aspirin. I learned to keep an open mind, to be patient, and I believe you'd be the type that would enjoy these kinda stories, especially if you are bored on an Airplane.

I like to see great Zerg players beat silver spoon Terrans, so I generally use comparisons between their units to show imbalance. But compare the Roach and Stalker. Before S's Armored bonus, they have less dps. They have a little more toughness (until they have taken some damage, and then that won't heal back). They are significantly superior only in range and speed. And they cost almost twice as much.

unreal series!! some really excellent games from both sides but as a Protoss player I must say that game 6 with Showtime defending the entire game long to come back and take the victory was just insane! glad that both of them were able to qualify too!

It seems pretty crazy to me if they do do try and balance the game based off the top 1%. Surely the other 99% is what you might say is more indicative of general play experience. It's nuts that Protoss units are *that good* compared to say Zerg. They say quantity is a quality of it's own and all, but when you are basically required to have at least one base more than your opponent to even attempt to match their unit power, then I think something is seriously wrong with whatever equation they are using.

That game 4 was so intense, man!!! I thought for sure the Nidus Worm aggression was gonna cripple showtime, but clearly, the cost was way too high, and when you watch the unit counts for each player, Showtime never goes far below Shin. Fascinating.

I played StarCraft 2 back then in 2016 iirc. But I like watching those competitive games. What I have to say is in all those Years idk if it’s the players but Zerk seems always so strong and like you can do multiple mistakes and it seems still fine.

Hell no. Korea and agression is like opposite stuff in LoL. China made it even more into this stuff though. But that style started in korea when you farm like 20-25 minutes and then game starts. Like imagine SC2 game where players sorta ignore eachother for 12 minutes and only then aggresion starts

funny thing about Zerg being so nerfed and so weak compared to 2018's zerg, is that if you look at that year and all those tournaments Serral won, in half of them he was the only zerg in the semifinals, and only 1 of them had zvz finals. If you look at overall results in premier tournaments that year and remove serral, very few zerg got good results. Rogue and Scarlett won 1 tournament each, dark was 2nd twice and Reynor once.

It has never been zerg op it's just that terran is more consistent than any other race, they are the early safe option and have always had answers to pretty much anything. Zergs play on a curve, terrans have the most come back potential imo, Protoss have always been the poo poo kah kah of the 3, MaxPax is the only one that gets protoss to a remotly good lvl and they call him an AI.
