Best-of-5 series of StarCraft 2 that is the finals of the ESL Open Cup 223 for the North American server. In this match herO decides to start off with Terran, whilst MaxPax plays his regular Protoss.

I'm a low master protoss, this week I spammed Zerg and never played protoss, got to mid diamond with zerg and understood A TON OF THINGS that I didn't know. Then I played a couple protoss games in PvZ and naturally came up with very weird builds that just..worked very well. It's really funny and I encourage everyone to try this a couple times.

That's the correct mindset of self improvement of any competetive scenario, one thing that many starcraft players lack, hence the casual "xxx is op nerf" in a freaking neverending circle.

I was stuck as a diamond 2 Zerg, and played only random until I got to the same rating as random (without cheese). Went back to only Zerg and was suddenly able to get to mid masters. Playing the other races is the best thing to do if you want to improve.

He is probably autistic :/ like megifelix in league of legends he is really good player but once he is on stage he completly lost his focus and play really weak . I get it why max pax dont want , its not for everyone .

The TvP was by far the best game. some really sick plays with the reaper grenading the stalker into the widow mine. Hero should know though that you can't just move out with only 2 siege tanks and 4 marines. You would think when a protoss player decides to play Terran they would use what they think makes the race op in TvP since protoss players always complain about Terran.

He really must have thought there were only 2 warpgates. If you look again, the second he sees four units warping in at the same time, he tries to turn back... but yeah. Siege tanks don't really turn on a dime.

@@cyberkekosis Because Zerg is very, very hard to play. You always see Zergs off-race but not other races off-race to Zerg. There was a show tournament a few years ago, Clem vs Reynor, where they swapped races. Reynor demolished Clem with widows mines. And Clem wasn't bad at Zerg. He's like a bit below Solar level that time with his Zerg skills, so really high actually.

@@N0noy1989 i'm borderline braindead and Zerg is the only race i can make it beyond Silver with. like, i really have no idea what to do as a Terran, especially as a Protoss. so i dunno what you're talking about. and no matter the reasoning the outcome is still Maru not playing this race. not playing openly at least.

A lot of nice viceos , great job. Though, with the length always indicating whats happening it is a bit of anticlimatic. For example here, bo5, 18minutes long already says one of them gets kicked real hard
