@@cochonkg With nothing else to shoot, bcs will still probably mop those up fast, and they can yamato the infestors. I don't think they'd be the backbone of the counter.

The BC ground counter is the derpfestor.

Fungal growth counters cyclones and BCs. Last thing he want to do is to replace ground army with vikings. They would just die to vipers.

Broodlords never a surprise. Nothing terran can go against them except Vikings which get smashed by corrupter fungle. Oh but thor and ghost work you may say. Well no sorry I'm not a pro and they get fked by 'A' move zergling bane before shots by ghosts can be fired. So never a surprise because 99% of 10min+ games of TvZ are broodlords.

Terran lategame is pretty hard. They don't have anykind of splash, and that hurts really bad. Terran need some kind of splash for air or so. The anti armor middle was too strong, but it was the right way. Cause the only other way Terran can play lategame is with ghosts. And they are so hard to control and so vulnerable with no splash... In these kind of games I feel like you need 1-2 ghost just to emphasize the vipers and infestor so you can tacrical jump ur battle cruisers. Yet it's anyway do hard to land a good emp, I am not sure if he would be able to. Terrains only others option are nukes. And tbh, they are fun, but I feel like they are not so great as a game design. The other played gets stressed to death and the Terran has to invest a lot of ressources that are often just wasted, becasue they get often spotted. And Terran has only 3 viable anti air units available. 1. The ghost. He can snipe, but is super hard to control and vulnerable. Super expensive also. 2. Vikings. Storm as well as fungal growth wrecks them so hard it's ridiculous. Also curroptors seem to win against Vikings what I think is kinda bullshit. Corruptor's are such a good air unit which wrecks nearly everything. 3. Battle cruisers. They are so easily countered. Infestor and corridor just laugh at them, as u can see. Protoss just builds voids and or tempest. Yes it's a mixture Terran needs, but I feel like they are too easy countered. Maybe the nukes are really the key to lategame Terran... Yet I feel like that's not the case. Terran can only counter the enemies speelcsster imo with emp, but for themselves they only have anti armor missile which does 0dmg >>. I would say give anti armor missile it's damage back. Not the crazy 30 DMG, but the 15 DMG it had. Then Terran build 3-5 Ravens and gets thus optimal 150 splash dmv out of it. And anti armor is easier to dodge than storm and fungal growth I'd say. Maybe give less armor reduction for that, but please give Terran some lategame splash.

@@clemensschomburg8693 I've long felt that nukes could be implemented differently to make them more useful... maybe make them non-cancelable even if the ghost dies after half the time for aiming has expired? Or just shorten the time it takes until the nuke actually strikes?

@cgimofo I quote everything you said. Also liberators + raven's debuff is in my opinion a great counter to corruptors.

corruptors trade good against vikings and are faster. the investors are the counter to bcs. vikings wouldnt have done anything.

What about some sort of ability from the raven? Like a repair beam similar to the Medivac for troops? Or a sort of ability to erase other abilities?

​@@adamthethird4753 I like both those ideas. Though I don't know how you would balance it. The problem with giving more to the raven is that they already have quite a few tools in their kit. Maybe they could make an erase ability for medivacs so they aren't shoe horned into only being useful for bio and the occasional drop. Repair beam would be nice but you could say we have SCV's that can do that... though they aren't practical in battle....
