Anyone else notice that Lowko poorly veils contempt for Americans? And that he uses the term “once again” for everything including the first time a player does something?

@@joshroestel5684 That's just most people here in Europe on Americans though. It's not personal, it's just the amount of American tourists we will see walking around being so loud and ignorantly proclaimative as if a foreign city is a cruise ship experience they paid for, plus all the news coverage looks like a joke (which Americans I've met acknowledge themselves), and the cult of celebrity that they have. Obviously very generalised, but when that's the only exposure we get of them it's easy to stereotype.

The year is 2024. Banelings now cost 100 gas each. Lurkers are removed. There is a limit of 4 hatcheries per game. Serral and Reynor are still winning on Zerg.

You now get 2 Marines for 50 minerals and 1 supply. Void Rays get cloaking. Serral and Reynor are still winning on Zerg.

The mothership gains spear of adun and costs 100/100, no cap on how many to build, made with no fleet beacon out of stargates. Disruptors only blow up when on top of 10 enemy units or more. Immortals dont die for their namesake. Colossus kills enemy units by stepping over them. Serral and Reynor still win on Zerg

Zerg get no units except drones and locusts, and are capped at 10 of each. Marines are invulnerable, trained instantly and cost no resources or supply. Serral and Reynor are still winning on Zerg.

There's actually a pattern in these comments, the opening paragraph metaphorically means how bad Terran fanboys want to nerf zerg in order to see their favorite terran pro winning tournaments, and the latter is just like what it says. Realistically speaking, Serral & Raynor did have a lot of trouble dealing with new buff to Terran and did lose couples of tourneys but yes, the grand stage still belong to Zerg, a fact that makes Terran players in general and Terran fanboys in particular, MAD. Imagine cheating and still lose, that feeling captures the mind of every terran fanboy perfectly.

Building armor might be a mistake, but looking at Clem's last games, it might have been for advanced bunkers/turrets.

Game 3: "You can see there is a bit of a shakiness to Clem's play." No, he just wanted his first Medivacs out faster to push on creep with low marine count to prevent Serral from droning up after the early all-in without risking of being surrounded. "Banelings are not out yet. Clem decided to push very deep on creep." Yeah, that is why he delayed the upgrades. "Yeah, this haven't achieved much." Only, if you call making Zerg halt drone production at 60 drones for 50 seconds to build an army they can't use at the moment "not much"...

I only hotkey production buildings and started using them for casters and flying units. I’m still not used to it so i suck quite a bit lol

@@chi7818 One thing I do try is to hotkey the CC to perform a scan. I can assign it fine, although at some point in the game it seems whatever key combination I have pressed has caused the mapping to no longer work (I do type a few messages - perhaps typing before invoking the message window is what's causing it). Also some history as to why I don't hotkey - I was given a gaming keypad way back in the day and as I played at a lot of LAN parties I considered it an unfair advantage and didn't want to become reliant on it - in case I forgot it and wouldn't be able to play without it. I then was too lazy to use the keyboard shortcuts...

@@Fifury161 I’ve been using 1-cc 2-barracks 3-factory 4-star port For as long as I can remember. Used those back in the Starcraft 1 days. Not that efficient but I don’t really care about climbing the ladder. I started adding 0,9,8 for different army units.

i think reynor had "gridded hotkeys" (idk how it's called) and he pressed the key next to the supposed one and since that building armor is next to infantry armor, the building armor started.

Clem: the split magician? He's fantastic at splitting marines against banelings. Once against Reynor, he destroyed both hatches of a double expansion, splitting against about 50 banes and cycling to both sides of the map.

i badly want to see Zerg in super late game put up nydus behind every mineral line so they can evacuate the entire line extremely fast when harass comes in while a big fight is going on. as well as the ability to move a large chunk of defensive units between bases extremely fast, as well as having all spawned units be at the front extremely fast, as they only move from hatch to nydus almost right beside the nydus. would also like to see double nydus late game to prevent the easy destruction off 1 worm, by creating two at a time when need be ^^ just want more cool nydus use :P

After watching Byuun match you recently posted i can see difference in baneling sniping+ overall better marine menagement. While Clem tried to spread+pickup by medivacs marines, Byun went full on turbosniping banelings, so, while more risky, his rines dealt much more dmg compared to clems

Serral played that last match in true Serral fashion, but I do wonder too what would have happened if Clem didn't mis-upgrade. It cost him such a nice push, that was being effective for two games in a row already.

What I think is missing from those games are ultralisks. Zerg composition needs them to counter terran slow push. However unit itself is quite bad. My suggestion would be, allow ultralisk to become available at a base tech level, however upgrades would be still locked until later. This would enable easier transition to them and without upgrades, ultralisks are not that useful which would balance them out in earlier stages of a game.

Or effective air units. Tanks counter anything land, rines anything air. Only way zerg wins is via vastly superior macro and unit control, which makes zerg weak unless played by a pro

Game 2, Serral had a good 30sec of being supply blocked around 29-30 supply. So imagine if that went flawlessly.

I’ve watched Zerg cave to Clem’s 3 base marine tank push. You aren’t going to catch him with that big bane hit. He’s just too good. Why not infestor for when those marines push onto creep then stim back to the tanks?

If a zerg steal your expand like Serral did, build a bunker and send reaper to the zerg base to kill workers and scoot. Then you just have to go for a one base all in with marine tank medivac and take some SCV to repair tank. If zerg go all in ravager, don't siege your tank to avoid ravager corrosive bile
