Serral has since proven that it is indeed Zerg that is OP. Serral hasn't yet perfected it here yet but he realized that all he had to do was to survive mid game and then bring out the free unit generators: brood lords, infestors, sometimes swarm hosts. Then let the free unit spam begin! Since then Serral's early to mid game defense against cheese has been immaculate. Clearly he learned from his experience here, went home, and practiced A LOT.

ikki itsuki i wouldnt even say he cant keep up, he just made greedy ass plays every single game, early 3rd every game, and before he can even saturate the 3rd the protoss player is already droping, or moving across the map. he made it seem like he didnt even know how to play zerg

Until now, I've just watched the first game. Classic is really lucky that he plays Protoss and gets away with not scouting anything inside the first 3 minutes. That means he can sit home and just focus on his cheese. I'm sure if Serral knew anything about the Koreans is that they will cut every corner they can in SC2. Serral should learn from Rogue how to jab Classic on the obvious chin. That robot doesn't know how to think and will be demolished as soon as someone throws a monkeywrench in his build.

Serral just had a brilliant reverse sweep against another Korean protoss in his previous match. Don't judge a player by a single series.

Serral definitely have the macro to par up with classic. But classic had 5 games of Serral to study unhindered and figured out his playstyle. He also have more experience and is slightly better but to call Serral being unable to macro is wrong
