The scratch sample you're hearing is called the "AHH" scratch one of the most famous and common DJ scratches I use it myself from time to time and the "get down!" Is james Brown this games music taught me a lot about sampling and dj culture the composers did such a good job

I don't think Hideki was even at SEGA at this point, either way this track was done by Naofumi Hataya. Almost all of the SEGA composers use the same resources of sample packs/libraries which is why many composers use the same samples sometimes. Many of these are from the Zero G Datafile and X-Static Goldmine packs.

So I just made a connection that Stardust Speedway present is twice as long as both future tracks and the past track. The song is literally an amalgamation of all three music focuses from the time zones! That’s freaking awesome!
