I was thinking the same thing. Console players can't do this yet and even though modding is coming for console in 2024 it may be late 2024.

There's actually console commands that allow you to set the max build size. I dont know if consoles other than pc have access though. But if you have pc you can use them

i mean, yea, the game wasn’t designed with giant modded ships in mind, so it makes sense frame rate would rank as a result.

Same with the settlements in Fallout 4. They had a maximum build capacity which could be changed with mods. And all of a sudden the game would stutter like a maniac.

Frame rates tank anyway, no matter what gen od xbox you own. The game is not finished or polished. And the shitty cloud causes all sorts of problems.

All builds great. Hats off ship builders. I loved the ship that looked like a resting , or squatting mech nb 2 I think. My favourite was the creative batwing nb 5. Take a round of applause sir, stalwart wawwiors all.

that decision that you should land this ridiculous thing really wrong. more realistic, that we could dock that ships to orbit station and land using other type of shuttle proposed by game.

Agreed, I'm surprised this wasn't in the game. Being able to deck out your own fighter or shuttle would have been great. Twice as much ship building.

I just tried it, you can destroy whole fleets with this thing! Barely have to lift a finger! The Ship Builder Menu is a 5 FPS lag fest.

That M Class is what im working on building right now, or something to close to it anyways. Since i started playing this game ive just wanted to build a full blown battleship style thing. Just a major shame that theres no option for a main foward battery.

Lol! I wouldn't take the Normandy / Tempest into actual battle! Its not designed for it. Stealth ships can't fight without scifi techno-voodoo 😃 - That Atlanta Frigate, now thats a fighting ship! 👍👏

A lot of these look nice or average but that razor leaf sister ship ugh naw not my thing... The concept of the cranes is legit but maybe one crane and one advanced build up of weapons on the other side?

Is it just me or are particle weapons OP af on ships? They do major damage to both shields and hull and also destroy systems fastest and have the highest crit damage of any other weapon type outside of EM If you spec into them and strap 4 class C on you can just use targeting mode as a Max Payne dodge. Combine that w/ cheesing targeting mode for instant 180° degree turns and you can solo capital ships at low level

Specifically why I picked them as my full loadout. They don't favor hull or shield damage so the DPM is fairly consistent throughout.

@@damonkingsbury2968yes the game is very CPU heavy. Lighting / Shadows all use CPU. The people that Reverse Engineer the game for modding purposes explained exactly why and what happens.
