The original elder scroll Skyrim was awesome because modders had freedom to post their own mods independently. They then made a enhanced version of the game to get a cut of the sales made by modders selling their mods....that was a sh*tshow. I would prefer if they let modders mod independant of the developers so we get as many diverse mods as possible.

I haven’t been this excited for a Bethesda game since Elder Scrolls: Skyrim. I really hope they’ve decided to bring us another game of the year. This game has incredible potential.

Don't get your hopes too high, I noticed they showed only what they wanted you to see. There was a lot that they were covering up in this reveal, I'm skeptical about the final product. Oh and if they're still going in the same direction they've been going lately then you can expect to see all sorts of pay walls and locked content that requires you to shovel out more of your money just so you can finish that side quest you picked up in the starter zone.....

Yea I already pre ordered it. I can't wait. And lets not forget after beating the game the Nexus mods that people will create. I modded the heck out of Skyrim. Skins, new quest, weapons and armor. When stealing peoples clothes they were butt naked instead of the fury underwear and bras lmao.

It would be cool if the weather on the different planets effected your character and crew. Like the temperature changed/was different at night, than during the daytime. And if you build a out post on a planet that was very cold, your crew, would dress accordingly.

I think this will be great. Bethesda has the capability to create something incredible like elder scrolls and fallout, so why not this? People focus so much on their few shortcomings and ignore the years of fun and escape they’ve brought us for over a decade. Keeping my hopes up for this!

I love Bethesda games! For what they had to work with the past few years they do put their hearts in a good game. But I think people are fearing what game companies do they sell you at the trailers and then you get a game that's not completely finished like Fallout 76.

This is going to be a mix of Destiny, Star Citizen, No Man's Sky and Fallout. I'm holding back any giddy anticipation until I actually see reviews and see what bugs it has. I've made the mistake of being a Day One adopter of games like Fallout 76, where I had to re-download the game after preloading it onto my computer and playing a few hours because it got wiped on many users hard drives by a bug. It was a disaster and the game was not that great. I play it now, but that's after a ton of updates and overhauls to the game itself.

I’m sure it’s better, but I’ve never been severely disappointed with a Bethesda game without mods, besides 76 which I didn’t even take the chance on haha. Hopefully I get on pc soon and get to experience the difference with mods.

How explorable are these worlds? Will it be like Star Wars Jedi: Fallen Order, where only a small part is playable? Or will we be able to explore the entire world? If so, I can't imagine there will be much content covering that much space.

It's like the quick little gun fights in fallout 4 you had and discovery experience when coming to a Rocket Gas Station, instead of the dum dum sfx it's different but the approaching discovery is still the same format.

If you look a bit more closely you can tell it’s really just like all the other games they make. Basic npc dialogue, harvesting, looting, discovering locations, and modular homesteading. They polished it yes, but the gameplay is going to be very familiar.

Mod in all of Elder Scrolls and all it's locations, people, creatures and stuff, then you can land there with new tech and fight magic and dragons with lasers, yeah. A touch of Cadillacs and dinosaurs meets Conan VS Mandalorian. Ok, too much coffee again. Anyway, good idea.

Looks good. I like that gravity is low on small planets. But, don't they have children and old people in that universe? Also people seem to wander aimelessly. Nobody is carrying backpack or a suitcase.

@@iamgort70 Yeah, Bethesda used procedural generation in the clunkiest way possible. NMS used it properly to create a Universe with 256 galaxies and over 18 quintillion planets & way more to do, claim, create, own & leave a mark upon than Starfield.
