I have this headset. Something which you didn’t mention when you turn it on it makes the sound of a starship taking off and turning off sounds like Engines it is a very nice feature!!

I know!! because we just it, we didn't test it until later 😭! I forgot to mention the wallpaper that comes with the controller! but I'll bring all that up in the HAULED episode!

Mine just arrived today , easily my favorite controller at this point. Regular controller. But it’s not really regular. It’s awesome. I love the little details on the controller and the rubber grips , but not just in one spot like the lunar shift controller. And the triggers feel different. And they are quiet. It’s just an awesome feeling controller. I’m still waiting on my headset. I didn’t buy it the same day , but should be here by the weekend. Can’t wait for it. 👍👍👍✌️✌️✌️

Coming from the Xbox One, this is my first of the newer style of controllers and I gotta say it’s pretty great. It’s absolutely gorgeous and the texture on it is solid.

Not that into starfield even though im a big fallout fan but i must say, the "nasa punk" style they designed is really amazing. just ordered mine.

I felt the same until I watched the gameplay footage! Gave me a similar vibe to what Fallout 3 did when it was first announced!

How is the construction of the band connection to the earcups? Is it solid plastic or any metal? Does it seem like it would last very long or break easily?

sadly, won't last longterm! construction is mostly plastic and having worn headsets for over 20 years now, I can tell the earcups will fall apart and the band may one day just snap :[

Great intro animation. I wish I liked the feel of the xbox controller because I'd own quite a few of these designs, especially this and the halo elite controller.

thanks bud! wish i had more time to animate what i had in mind but maybe one day :D dang, you don't like how it feels in-hand?! how about the ps5 controller? but yeah, xbox gets props for making some really fun designs, wish Nintendo and PlayStation did more of that!

@@itcamefromabox My fingers rest easier on all the back buttons on a ps4 controller but not so much the xbox controller and I have fairly large hands plus I use the touchpad to swap to the axe on fn. I haven't tried the ps5 controller yet because I'm afraid it won't feel as good as the ps4 controller. Yeah playstation have really been lacking in designs, I haven't seen anything good since maybe the ps4 spider-man design but I guess people can just put whatever faceplate on it they want.

Xbox. I just tested it in a voice message. It works in a recorded voice message with the light on but not off; it doesn’t work at all in party chat at all so far. Thanks for the reply.

when you press the mute button, the light turns on to indicate that it's muted. so make sure it's off when using it! but try the troubleshoot steps, there might be something that's missing: support.xbox.com/en-US/help/hardware-network/accessories/troubleshoot-xbox-wireless-headset

works as a regular controller, so anything that has bluetooth (maybe not with a switch, tho)

The rubber grips are a massive turn off. The elite 1 had the same sort and they just warped and fell off after a year

Yeah, this is definitely a collector piece because of that :\ Almost ALL the rubber in our controllers and mice turns sticky a few years later :|

I had the same problem with the elite controller. Microsoft will not warranty anything past 90 days. They are basically admitting that it’s crap and you shouldn’t buy their nice things. Fortunately for them, a sucker is born every minute.

The controller if you have to choose! The headset is nice but it won't last if you use it daily :O

The rubberized padding on the grips (1:17) on the xb elite controller completely came off in less than 6 months. I was told by Microsoft that since it lasted more than 90 days, that this was fine, and the warranty was void. Great job, idiots. I sent emails and asked for some kind of explanation but this was their resolution. I hope they addressed this and that this controller lasts longer. I’m personally never buying anything expensive from them again as they basically admitted to me that they support and embody a cash grab business model.

yeah, that kind of rubber is used on all kinds of tech but after a few years, it becomes sticky and wear out :\ can't say i'll be using this one aggressively because of that 😢

Okay dude so I just got my controller right and it seems like the same battery pack that's on my 8bitdo pro 2 looks like the xbox controller have you try to put it in the controller to see if it will work...... I mean it says on their website that the battery is the same....... as the Xbox and it'll work but I'm just asking if you think it will?.....oh and it sucks that xbox doesn't add a usb charging wire inside smh shame shame shameeeeeee on you xbox lol

Well I think they're sized as 2 double A batteries so if that's the case they should fit BUT the official third-party rechargeable batteries barely fit as is :O Might be risky, do they mention anything about it on the manual?
