I have been trying to figure out how to make the NASA Prism Starship since after the main mission but with the limitations on ship design size I found it difficult on how to downsize, and now from just KZfaq recommendations I found this video and damn good work on the downsize it really looks awesome. 👍

Thank you! Yes I was exactly the same! I was totally gutted that I had to omit that whole trapezoidal section behind the Cabot bridge, but it made the most sense. Tbh, I think we probably could 100% do a more faithful, to-scale recreation using the M-Class ship mods, or even one of those mods that unlocks ship size. But I tend to like to keep things as vanilla as possible. Glad you found my video useful!

On the subject of the large spherical He3 tanks, I was thinking they're a better aesthetic match for the part where you've got the reactor. of course that would leave you having to fit the reactor in under where you've currently got that companion way and you might have to swap to a different docker to pull that off. Personally I would also probably replace the Taiyo caps with another two engines but I can appreciate the commitment to the Aesthetic.

A good idea actually! With the Spherical fuel tank, I may update my build at some point! I am also pretty sure that at one point, I had those engines that look like the taiyo nose caps, but i think i ended up feeling weird having flaming hot thruster juice pouring all over the fuel tanks on the spine LOL

Ahhh i was wanting to do this but i was thinking about using that massive 3x3x1 wedge i belive its by toyio. But use it to try and get that enlarged mid section.

I did try this actually, but due to the 80 meter length restriction, it would have made the ship too long. Shorten it, and it looks too unproportional. At least in my opinion. I also wasn't a big fan of the sides, the taiyo wedge looks great on the top but then left the side flat. I tried using those Stroud nose caps, but then we had a big flat gap then beside the Taiyo 3x3 and the Stroud Nose caps lol. I ultimately decided to scrap it and "sell" the ship as a 'miniaturized' C-Class variant. If I did the hack/mod to build M-Class ships, I'd definitely go for a more true-to-form replica of the original!

@CMDREagle131 I go by crew size +extra for passengers. So I like to have a min of 10 or so beds. 8 for crew, 2 or more for passengers. No crew would like using the same beds
